Halo

[Fireproof]

Yep. I play Halo. I'm under seventeen, but I didn't buy it, so there's no problem. It's a great game,a dn I play it often when I go to my friend's house. I always get killed by my other friend. He's a sniper. o_O
Anyways, I was planning to have my dad buy the game for PC and split the price, 'cause he wants to play it too. ^_^ He used to play doom and Wolfenstein back in teh day, but as I played no the computer more, he stopped. REcently, he's wanted to try Doom 3, adn I'm attempting to convince him that Halo, maybe Halo 2, would be just as good.
Any memories/anticdotes about them game anyone wants to share? I'll start.
Once, when my friends and I were playing a four player game, my friend's younger brother did something funny. He took all of the vehicles and stuck tehm behind one of the cliffs on blood gulch. We actually had to ask him for a vehicle. He rented them out to us! o_O Eventually, I crashed the party by stealing a Scorpion adn running him over, but ti was quite strange, when he had the vehicles up there. My other friend would borrow Ghosts, run me over, then zoom back up and return them. T_T

If you know where your friend is sniping you from, it's easy to take him out with a pistol. The pistol has a faster firing rate than the sniper rifle, and a 2x zoom feature that means you can hit people at a distance. When the guy holding the sniper rifle is shot while he's zoomed in on the scope, it reverts him out to normal zoom and he has to start all over again. So all you have to do is keep peppering him with pistol shots and he's totally unable to shoot you with said rifle.

I try, but I jsut don't have his lightning reflexes. By the time I could whip out the good ol' pistol, I've gone splat. I'll have to play Pacman or something, to improve my response time in situations like taht. But hey, I'm fairly good at Pacman, and it's one of my favorite games.

Why bother "whipping out" the pistol? Just keep using it whenever you can. Sadly, it's the best weapon in the game. (I hear they're correcting that for Halo 2.)

Yeah another tip that i love doing is....Use needlers on Elites and sometimes the flood. The big ones. I always shoot have the clip at elites and bam they are outta here.

Yeah the pistol is pretty awesome. There's no stopping me with a pistol and needlers. lol. Every horrible weapon in the game i own will lol.

My favorite weapon is the plasma rifle. I handle it really well. My fave vehicle is the Ghost. I run people over with it.

Though I do have mucho fun hiding in doorways then jumping out and melle-ing people to death. It's just so awesome to see them jump up when I scare them like that.

I'm gonna keep telling you guys over and over and over! The original doom is still the best FPS out there, and if you dont believe me go to http://www.zdaemon.org and download the multiplayer client! I'll send you the doom2.wad if you need. Its supposed to be free now but the client lately has been tracing people to a strange file.
