An amazing speach I heard on thursday

this is not my testamony, but a good friend of mine. He is much like me, we both over-analyze things, and are constant thinkers. At a retreat a few days ago, he has the tendency to "talk a LOT" about the retreat. This year, is speech, was truely amazing. I will try to summarize what he said the BEST as possible as IF I were him, 1st person view. I present you, the words of Andrew Hong

Okay hey guys. The retreat was awesome and all, and I just wanna share this with you. Okay, I have this SAT teacher, and like, he taught us for like, the past years okay? Well anyway, he kept getting meaner and meaner every year or so.one day, I ask him if I can miss a day for a church activity. And he tells me a story about how like, a guy was interviewed because he had 3 sons, all went to Stanford, Harvard, and MIT. They're like, "are you some super-dad? how did you do this?" and the dad says "I kept them out of church"
Well im gonna tell you guys, that just made me so mad, cause like...There is mroe to live than just crunching numbers! Sure, you can get a goob job if you want, good life, be a doctor, engineer, whatever! Yeah, those kids missed church when they were little... and yeah, they can go back to church, be baptised and all that. BUT THEY CAN'T EXPERIENCES THIS KIDNA OF STUFF WE DO AT RETREATS! (and andrews like all red and zealous and stuff, hes the man) THE DAD WAS LIKE, TAKING A KIDS WHOLE YOUTH AWAY! ADULTS CAN'T GO BACK TO YOUTH RETREATS AND EXPERIENCES THIS KIND OF FEELING OF JESUS CHRIST! y-y-you heard the saying, "reach for the sky" right? Like reach for your dreams? Well WHERE does the sky begin? The SKY begins at the SAME TRANSDECEND LINE THAT THE EARTH ENDS. We don't have to be... you know. MOVIE directors, or ROCK STARS ya know? When Jesus Christ is RIGHT HERE! Ya know! I mean, when i was little, i was the biggest dork ever, I sat at home, doing nothing. Ya know. But Christ let me beable to experiences youth retreats like this. And I jsut thank God for it, ya know?
