Is there a "jungle wa itsumo hare nochi guu" game?

I was downloading openings to anime, and found the sequal to Jungle wa itsumo hale nochi guu... I was looking to the opening to the original but I couldn't find it... Oh well... That's not the point... The point is, in the opening credits, it mentions Enix... Yeah, that's right... That enix... The same enix that merged with Squaresoft. I was thinking... Was this a video game first? it's really weird to have enix mentioned in an anime credits, so I'm guessing it started as a game... I don't doubt it...

Oh, BTW, for nadesico fans, I also downloaded the opening to Nadesico: The Mission for dreamcast... Darn anime company not giving us our Nadesico... It basically takes place between the movie and the series... [spoiler=semi spoiler]Yurika serves under Ruri, captain of the Nadesico B, and Akito starts to change into his new role... [/spoiler]I wish I could get the full story somehow...
