Lunar Silver Star Story Complete

Postby Gypsy » Fri Aug 15, 2003 12:02 pm

Anyone else play this game? Anyone else love this game? It's a psx remake of an Sega cd game. Oh ... I started this thread, and now I have no time to post on it. This was meant to be just about the first game - not Lunar 2. I'm still playing that one, and if anyone posts any spoilers about it - I will give you the worse e-throttling of your life. Well ... maybe just a nasty e-Indian burn.

I want to get this eventually. The Lunar series has a well-sized fanbase.

The only problem is that it's rather expensive for a PS1 game, unless the price has gone down recently.

I've seen it at our local video rental place but it didn't give a description on the box so I had no idea whether I thought it would be worthwhile or not. What's it about?

Well actually Lunar:Silver Star Story and the GBA one, Lunar Legends, are basically the same story wise but the latter does have some changed dialouge and altered plot points/sequence of events and an altered battle system according to a few reviews I read.

From what I gathered by watching the Making of Lunar the Silver Star Story, there was quite a few differences between the Sega Cd and the psx version. Have you played both?

Well, be sure to check out the psx remakes if you ever get the chance. They did some pretty neat changes.
