I hated this movie. It took itself sooo seriously. The characters are all like, "our love lasts forever!" Oh, wait, no it doesn't, 'cause pretty-boy just DROWNED. After spending his time hooking up with a rich girl who is way outta his league, he DROWNS like a chump, with nothing to show for it but another notch on his 'Sexual Encounters' belt. How many times do you think the characters had premarital sex before they met each other? It only took them a matter of days to get to third base so let's make a conservative estimate of 10 or 12 different partners, each. Wow. I'm sure you must be real devoted to each other and stuff, with that track record. How many people today play the same game with themselves? How many meet someone and say "This is the one," have sex, then get bored and look for somebody new? The truth is, it happens all the time. A huge number of marriages end in divorce. People get married and think the lovey-dovey feelings are just gonna go on forever. WRONG. People want to believe that romantic love is the highest ideal in the universe or something. WRONG AGAIN guys. The last thing I want to do is spend two and a half hours hearing about somebody's selfish premarital relationship.
