Yeah, I've played the first one. Wasn't crazy about the dialogue and it could have used some more fighting sequences, but overall it's really good. If there was one reason for me to get an Xbox it would be Shenmue II. And Crazy Taxi 3. Two. Two reasons. 1. Shenmue II. 2. Crazy Taxi 3. 3. Nothing. There is no third thing...

(I didn't expect a sort of Stupid Composition...)

I liked the second one probably better than the first one.they have a website you can go to for the third but i'm not a member so i can't see the screenshots.I'm into those storyline games.I liked the ending too.i also love kingdom hearts and can't wait until that comes out.I've never played crazy taxi.sounds fun. :)

I only played the 1st one and I liked it. I would probably never play it through again considering I don't want to sit for another 100 hours talking to people about stuff. I liked the 70 against 2 battle that was fun.

Well, all I can say is...Shenmue is a pretty neat series. Sad, such a great series is so over looked. As for you questions... yes, I like the Shenmue games. Yet, no, I've never played the games. I've only watched them... from the several hours I watched (and helped) my younger cousin play through the games.. I'm really looking forward to picking the games up and playing them myself all the way through.

I think I got to the first fight, but I could not get this one figured out for the life of me... A lot of wandering, but after beating Silent Hill 2, I might want to try it again... I've got a dreamcast now, but my friend didn't give me Shen Mue with the system... Think he lost it.

As for part two, I'll likely never play it... I just don't like the X-box...

I have already expressed my thoughts on Shenmue, which can be found here: http://www.christiananime.net/showthread.php?t=5441

Did anyone else see the episode of "Filter" that listed Shenmue as the second worst game of all time? I would tend to agree with that: the game is a technical achievement, but it is ultimately not fun to play.

I prefer games with a lot of action, such as Soul Calibur 2 (or fighting games in general), The Suffering, Champions of Norrath, etc. For that reason alone, I found Shemue to be very boring. There were a lot of things to do, but the vast majority of them were simply novelties that did not produce actual progress in the game.

The game would have been a lot more interesting if you were given more freedom. Specifically, the freedom to beat up the random people in the street. Then you could run from the police, and distract them with your impressive collection of vending machine toys.

Oh I love Shenmue! Despite all it's flaws I had a blast playing it. I did buy the strategy guide the day I bought it though, so that probably aleviated alot of frustration. I've really been wanting to play the sequel but don't know anybody who has it on Xbox.
