i'm not a fan of the story, but i will admit, some of the scenes with the boat on the water were beautiful. they were very wonderfully done.

Hey, I thought the movie was the best one I've ever seen of Peter Pan. None of the others really captured the essence of Peter Pan and Jeremy Sumpter really did.

I didn't like some of the acting so much, like John and Wendy who weren't so believable at time (ok, sue me, I've been acting in church for years and took a drama class, I'm a critic of acting) but overall the entire cast was great.

Captain Hook and Smee were hilarious and I liked how this movie didn't play off the triangle of love from Wendy, Tinkbell, and Tiger Lily directed at Peter Pan like most of the other movies have. It makes him seem like a chic magnet and Wendy and Tink were enough I think.

All in all, great movie, I reccomend it for preteens, teens, and maybe some adults. My parents wouldn't enjoy it, but possibly other adults would? I wouldn't let my younger cousins see it, just because there is a LOT of romantic tension between Wendy and Peter Pan. Little ones don't need to start acting like that anytime soon.

My friend's been wanting me to come over one day and rent it, cause she's really into Peter Pan. Haven't seen it yet, but it seems to be quite good. I never really liked the Disney Peter Pan movies, but I do like Hook (even though it's an alternate story,) it was interesting.

I didn't really like this movie very much. But the one thing I did like was Capt. Hook's coat. Man, that was an awesome coat....
Think happy thoughts.

Hmm, well the movie looks nice going by the previews but I'm not going to see it. I know that people like to do things with the ever evolving technology of special effects that we have today. But, personally, I think there are enough Peter Pan movies out there already. I mean this must be the 5th Peter Pan movie I've heard of.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE. But then again, I'm a hopeless romantic. It was just my, curl-up-on-a-rainy-day-with-chocolate-chip-cookie-and-don't-think-about-tommorrow-kind of movie. I like those.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Well, I finally watched it and I thought it was pretty good. At first there was some "kiddie comedy" ad I'm thinking "Ok, this is dumb" but then it picked up, and I just couldn't stop laughing at the implied love scenes! I love Peter's cocky attitude and suited the character very well. Well, all the characters were well-made in the movie. The only odd part, was how they depicted mermaids as being evil beings :/ That's a first.

But isn't this movie based more on the actualy play? And also, is it just me that noticed that Wendy, John, and... the other kids REALLY resembled Hermione, Harry, and Ron?

My cousin made me watch it ("Ooh, you HAVE to see it! It's so sparkly!!!") and I liked it. The only thing I didn't like was Wendy; she drove me up the wall. The romantic stuff was funny, but I think that's because it's so weird to see 11-year-olds acting like that. I have a brother that age and to him, girls are still gross.

Jeremy Sumpter was pretty cute, though.

acctually this is the very first full action length peter pan movie, the other one was with robin williams but that was when peter grew up. so it wasnt the original. then theres the cartoon. that doesnt count^^
