What's up?
Hi, I'm Link.I was searching around today for a Christian forum and look what I found.... a Christian forum that likes anime! Awesome! Truthfully, I'm not much of an anime fan, but I'm a die-hard Metroid, Zelda, Final Fantasy, and Star Wars fan. So, I think I'll stick around.

BTW, when did this site start?

Hello! The site you see before you started in late May of this year, but there was an MSN board before this one. You will not be let down by the many fans of the games you have mentioned.

Hey! You ought to talk to my sister, Miss Calbhach. Sounds like you two would get along mighty well.. :) And having said that, I say this: Welcome to CAA!

BOOSTER: Hey, No.1! Where's my cake?!
SNIFIT 1: Booster, Sir! There's a 70% chance the object you're standing on is a cake.
BOOSTER: What? THIS thing's a cake?

People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

WOW! That was fast! I'm glad to see this forum's active!
Thanks for the welcome! I'd be happy to talk to any Metroid, Zelda, Final Fantasy, or Star Wars fans.

May, eh? I wish I found the site then, when I was searching. I've seen to many good forums die.

Hajimemashite?
I'm guessing that's japanesse for hello or something. It would be cool to learn japanesse, but I'm having to much trouble with Spanish. lol

You should talk to Oldphilosopher. (He's my hubby.) He has written "the most complete walkthrough of FF8 on the net." (http://www.flactem.com/ocelot/ff8/) He's also currently working on a walkthrough for FFX. And he's a Star Wars geek.

(BTW, "geek" is a badge of pride where we live.)

Oh yeah... Welcome! :lick:

...But I was going into Tashi station with Biggs and Wedge to pick up some power converters!

Sorry, but with the antillies in there I just COULDN'T resist. You are in good company if you are into the FF series. There's plenty of us here. Oh, and the wolf's pretty accurate (and just plain pretty too) about the FF8 guide. I got about 13k hits this month alone.

See ya around!

Hola! lol, I prefer English.
I'll be in Spanish II this year and learning some German. German's easier to me, but I still gotta take Spanish.

Yeah, I'm a die-hard FF fan, but surprisely I've never played 8 or 9. Well, I don't a Playsation, so that's why.

I haven't seen much anime, so that's why I'm not a big fan. Now, I still like anime. The only Anime show I've watched all the way through was Gundam Wing, which was cool. I did watch some DBZ, it was ok and a few others of the Gundam series, that well, disappointed me.

Anyone have any shows they like to recommend?

Trigun! Most definetly Trigun. ;) That being said... Bienvenidos! Me llamo Bunny. *wave* I'm only Spanish I but I'm learning quickly...maybe.
"So David said to Michal, "It was before the LORD, who chose me instead of your father and all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the LORD, over Israel. Therefore I will play music before the LORD. And I will be even more undignified than this, and will be humble in my own sight. But as for the maidservants of whom you have spoken, by them I will be held in honor."

2 Samuel 6: 21&22

"I am going to take this bucket of water and pour it on the flames of hell, and then I am going to use this torch to burn down the gates of paradise so that people will not love God for want of heaven or fear of hell, but because He is God."

Trigun was awesome. Bebop was pretty neat too, and from what I've heard Kenshin/Inuyasha are both cool. But I haven't seen the last two stated, so don't use me as a judge.

er, it comes on late night on cartoon network if you're an insomniac. It's kind of a futuristic western about this traveling mysterious man who brings destruction wherever he goes. Really the guy's more of a goof than anything but the way he survives everything is no coincedence. I won't say anything more and ruin it but it has Christian references in it and it's just awesome. It has some cute humor and thought provoking stuff too.
