Sakurako-san's Bones ep. 11 - Could have been better, but still pretty solid. I wasn't feeling the three-sisters' drama, but the bits between Kujou and Shounen were pretty good. I wonder if they'll be able to wrap everything up in the last episode. The stuff at the end was the only reason I didn't give this episode 3 stars. 4/5

Perfect Insider ep. 11 - That was trippy. Were they having that whole episode in the minipool VR pods? A lot happened, and I love-love-loved that story about Nishinosono-sensei. But a lot of loose ends were left hanging. This whole show was very pretty and well-designed, but the execution of it left me unsatisfied. 3/5 for the episode. 6.0/10 for the show.

GochiUsa2 ep. 11 - That was a great episode. Only a few rough spots, but the overall experience was very good. I groaned when they started the zombie segment, but they really pulled it off to be a stellar segment. 5/5!

StarMyu ep. 12 [Final] - That episode was okay. I wonder if it'll get a second season. The show was pretty good, and it was better than I expected, but I am not very excited about it. 4/5 for the episode, 7.4/10 for the show.

Hakone-chan ep. 12 - Good episode. Not much happened that was wacky, and the plot moved forward. 4/5

Sakurako-san's Bones ep. 12 [final] - The story this week was a flashback, and it was pretty interesting, but the ending was awesome. Loved Shou's speech. A good way to wrap it up. After-credits scene was a little weird, but anyway... 5/5 for the episode, 9.2/10 for the show.

COMBO BREAKER

Glad you put Sakurako at 9.2, skreyola. I really enjoyed it, but it seemed largely neglected so I thought I was just being eclectic again.

I didn't find too much else this season to comment on. Komori-san was "cute" but I can't really recommend it to anyone due to extreme awkwardness value. I'm not even sure admitting to have watched Somera-chan means.

To make up for a lack of shows, Dad and watched both season of Arakawa Under the Bridge in 3 days. No idea why I never checked either the manga or anime out before now.

LOL at Combo Breaker.

I loved that show. It was definitely worth watching, in spite of all the weirdness that surrounds Kuujo-san. I think it was the season's most underrated show. It wasn't the best, but it was better than many people I saw comment on it thought it was.

Hakone-chan ep. 13 [final] - Everything wrapped up, nice and neat. I didn't care much for the ending speech. A mediocre ending to a mediocre show. 3/5; 5/10

Heavy Object ep. 12 - That was pretty cool. Hime looks like she has weapons that might shoot straight through a mountain, too. Qwenthur's a good guy. That last statement was enigmatic. I wonder what it means. Perhaps she's not as standoffish as she seems? 5/5; For the season: 9.4/10

So, my showlist for the season, which is effectively over:

1. Heavy Object - 9.4 (50 episode points)
2. Sakurako-san - 9.2 (47 episode points)
3. GochiUsa2 - 8.8 (45 episode points)
4. StarMyu - 7.4 (46 episode points)
5. Subete ga F ni Naru: Perfect Insider - 6.0 (42 episode points / 11 eps)
6. Onsen Yosei Hakone-chan - 5.0 (39 episode points)

Dropped:
7. Asterisk War

Guess I'll skip the ones I didn't pick up for the season.

If you were wondering, StarMyu was worth watching. Though it wasn't awesome, I'm still glad I watched it.

...BTW, I'm still watching the next cour of Haikyuu!! S2 (obviously! ;) ), however since we're moving into the Winter Season now I'm going to cease commenting on it to make way for the Winter thread. :) Suffice it to say, though, that it's still going, and still 100% awesome! :thumb:

This opened in the U.S. a few weeks ago. Anyone see this latest Ghibli movie? It has like a crazy 95 over at Rotten Tomatoes.
