that rampage Noh-Face does towards the end in the bath-house. Its the only time Miyazaki goes too far (or that's my oppinion).

While riding on his back near the end, Chihiro told him her mother told her when she was small, she fell into a river named Something-Haku, which is why she kept thinking she was underwater. He turned back into a boy and said something about remembering her falling into him, which just got me all confused. I don't remember anything about the river being leveled, though.
