Bad news...the release of the game has been set back 'til June of 2005 now...and there's a good chance it will be further delayed. But, as Mr. Miyamoto said, "A late game is only late until it's released, but a bad game is bad forever." So, as torturous as it is, take your time with it, Nintendo! = )

The question is what this means. Should we be glad that they're setting it back early because they're being more realistic, or worried that this sets a trend for many more setbacks?

Same can be said for XBox titles too..... Halo2, Sudeki, Fabel, Doom3, etc.

Just to keep this on topic.... love the look of the new game (makes me wonder how much of it is done since they have that whole trailer for it).... looks like they took the best of OOT and beefed it up with the new hardware and whatnot.

Gonna have to buy a cube one of these days.

Uh....wow, after so much has been said over 10 pages worth of posts I guess I don't have much of anything different to say except COOLIOOOOOSSSSSS!!!!!! :cool:

I'm glad to see that the Zelda series haven't gotten old just yet; with other equally good games out (like the Final Fantasy series) and the fact that the Zelda series always have the same characters in a slightly different conflict, I was thinking that people's preferences have switched on to something else. But it seems that a lot of people have been waiting long and hard for this moment.

The graphics are perfect for a Zelda game. As exciting as this is I can wait for the release; maybe by June of next year I'll have a Gamecube in my possession in time.

It should be a sequel to OoT where Link and Zelda grow up together, and then get married, and then have kids, and, and, and...lol.

That strikes me more as a story than a game. But because at least one of the Links has been mentioned as a descendant of previous Links, he had to have gotten married somewhere along the line. However, Link is a typical faceless hero: he exists to be your avatar, not to have an in depth personality of his own.

Its actually not confirmed that the horse is Epona, then again, each game has a different Link and Zelda, maybe it'll be the same with Epona?

I can't wait till it comes out, but of course it will probably be delayed an infinite amount of times. Nintendo tends to do that.

I think if they made Link have a love interest that is actually said to be so, it wouldn't be Zelda-esque. None of the games have really come out and said it, so I doubt they will now. The closest they've gotten is the fact that, like uc said, at least one Link has been said to be a descendent of another. That's...not very close, is it? ^_^;

All this talk of Zelda makes me want it more!!! T.T

Whoa look at those beautiful screenshots. This is deffinetly going to be the best looking Gamecube so far. When is this supposed to come out? Oh well either was it can't come out soon enough.
