I am new to the site and this is my first prayer request. my family and i dont exactly get along and they feel that i am in the wrong for some of the things that i have done. I started a christian cosplay group at my church and my parents feel that all i am using my church for is anime and to hang out with those people only. i stopped going because of these acusations, and everything that goes wrong is "always my fault" so i agree with them. they say that i am giving them attitude when really i dont want to argue with them and just help make things run smoothly in the household. i am trying to things their way but they, in a way, make it hard for me to do what they want. oh and i am also 21 years of age.

You're 21 years old, dude. I don't see why you ended up agreeing with them when what you described with the cosplay group didn't appear to be a means to use up all your time.

I understand it's tough when you're an adult and still having to live under your parents' roof and abide by their rules. I was in the same situation until I got married. Still, sometimes you have to stand up for what you believe in, even if your parents don't see things the same way.

Praying things smooth out.
