theladyeri here,
I just love caa, and i've used it ever since I first got into anime and manga. I just officially signed up because I want to submit reviews that are missing from the list, and go into greater detail on some that are on the list.
I have been into anime and manga for about 2 and 1/2 years now, and I am an artist, so I have learned so much! I've discovered what is wrong with traditional american graphic novels and why they never attracted me, and at the moment I am working on an american-style graphic novel using the amazing storytelling techniques I learned from anime and manga.
I am the type of person who loves a lot of random things:
history, especially asian
motown and 60's pop music
classic literature(as long as it is not stuff like moby dick...)
old pop culture
70's tv shows
old, old movies
drawing comics, manga, and graphic novels
all studio ghibli movies that i have seen.
Star Wars and LOTR!!!
surrealist art
things that are classy(heels, black dresses, pixy haircuts, black gloves, luxurious coats)
Art Deco and Art Nouveau
Movies made from musicals! (oklahoma!, the king and I, the sound of music, west side story, the Phantom of the Opera)
writing fiction
wierd things I hate:
peanut butter
PINK brand
fish
stalkers
my bros hogging the computer
power outages
stupid books about rich girls
stupid books about vampires(most of the time)
stupid, badly written books
stupid movies about idiotic drunk middle aged men
course humer
my terrible spelling

Unfortunately I've heard so much 60's music (all kinds-beleive me-all kinds) that i'm kinda sick of it, well, too much of a good thing is a bad thing (and too much of a bad thing is an unspeakable thing).You don't like dumb books about vampire-girl-people-whatever (i hate that vampire crap!!). I also love drawing, but i wouldn't call myself an artist. Hope you enjoy your stay!!!! :3
