Howling For A Healing

Postby junomoule » Mon Aug 29, 2011 9:47 pm

Figured this would be a fine place for prayer, and there's a real wonderful lady I know who could use a lot of it.

M'spending night or so in the hospital with Mama Lynie. She's a spirited woman with a quick smile, an exuberance for life, and three strapping boys she calls her family. Her favorite things are usually hiking and dancing, but right now her favorite thing would probably just be sitting up without pain and knowing recovery is something she can touch with her own two hands.

She landed herself an unhappy abscess and could use your prayer as she heals. She's scared, and she's hurting... but she's a firm believer in the Lord, and every prayer will help her shine brighter and encourage her more.

Thank you for your prayers, they'll surely make a big difference!

Done. :) I don't know what an abscess is, but I'm sure it's nothing good, and I've prayed for her now anyway, 'cause I figure God does.

Howdy, folks!

Just wanted to pop in with a couple of updates for the curious. Mama Lynie is out of the hospital, and was able to have her surgical drain removed some weeks ago. She's not out of the woods yet, but at least she's reached a clearing and is on the mend. So far it seems like internal bleeding's not a problem and she won't have to worry about anemia, all good news.

Cast a few more prayers her way, if you've got the chance?

A big bowl of gratitude to Atria, BK, Exlon, AC, and any of you sneaky lurker-types who tossed some prayer her way. Her steady increase in strength and faith in recovery wouldn't be nearly as powerful as it is right now without your prayers and encouragement. You've made a huge difference here, and I'm not sure how to thank y'all enough for it. Any confidence she's had in this has been helped tremendously by you guys and your genuine prayers.
