I've been playing System Shock, and it's mostly the_wolf's_howl's fault. The mouselook mod is indispensible and I have incredible respect for anyone who managed to play it through using the original control system...

IIRC J is pretty easy with the exception that eventually it's harder to level up pilots in reals -- the AI avoids attacking targets it has a low hit chance against, so ridiculously agile things like Layzner see less combat.

Picked Chrono Trigger back up, got sick of waiting five minutes for battles to load, broke the controller after having to sit through an obnoxiously long cutscene again after dying, and put it back away.

I just don't have the patience for save-point RPGs anymore, I guess.

I'm currently playing Star Wars: The knights of the old Republic numbers one and two. In preperation for the Star Wars: The Old Republic online game. It's going to be epic.

Buying the DS version of the game rather than the awful and poorly programmed PS1 version probably would have helped. :p

When I'm not playing Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3, I'm back into Dragon Quest VI, which is a fantastic game. I really like how the game is dropping huge hints as to the true nature of the world the main character comes from, but hasn't explicitly given the connection yet. It really helps the desire to keep progressing in the game, to see when the truth will be revealed.

Finally playing Halo Reach. I tried doing a run on Legendary and put hours and hours into it. I gave up and put it on normal and got to wear I left off in like, 45 minutes.

@Tarnish: Alternately, you could download a ROM of Chrono Trigger (the original SNES version) and play it on your computer; I don't think it is in any way unethical to download a ROM of a game if you already own a legitimate copy. No long load times, and if you are really that impatient, ZSNES has a fast-forward button.

I'm really not invested in the plot enough to bother. And is it really so wrong to not want to sit through an ungodly long cutscene after failing a boss battle?

Screw you guys and your girly Dragonball games, I'm gonna play Skullmonkeys, like a MAN.

So I got to the next boss in Metal Gear Solid - Sniper whoever, don't remember her name.... <_< Do I reeeally have to go all the way back there to get the stupid sniper rifle?! :waah!:

Oh, and I chuckled when Meryl was all, "Follow in my footsteps or you'll blow up," and then I just stuck my tongue out at her and put on my thermal goggles to see the mines anyway :P

In other news, my sister seems to have misplaced her little bag of DS games, which included my Elite Beat Agents game :S Knew I shouldn't have let her borrow it, lol :forehead:

I'm almost done with Alpha Protocol, and you know what? It's actually pretty good. I really don't get the hate. It's got a lot of problems, sure, but it's MILES better than Dragon Age 2.

I'm gonna start another game tonight and just be the worst spy ever. This'll be fun.

Finished Prince of Persia (the '08 game) the other day. Yeah, I'm really current. :P

I had a lot of fun with this. (Still am, I've been hunting down light seeds.) The platforming was fun, once I stopped confusing it with Tomb Raider's. XD I really don't have any problems with the game besides the ending, which didn't really make sense to me. It looks like a sequel was planned, but even with that in mind the last few minutes baffled me.
"Oh hey, we just spent the entire game making sure this guy didn't get out. But dang, killing him means this random chick I've been bantering/flirting with dies! Well, I'm gonna save her, even though Ahriman will kill or corrupt us both first chance he gets." I mean... what? It hardly sounds like the Prince. And it didn't look like he and Elika were 'in love' enough for him to make that choice anyway.

Also, Ahriman wasn't able to get out when he was first 'released' before (by the same process our Prince went through)--he had to gather power, and the heroes had all day to banish him again. But now he can suddenly explode with his dark evilness and cover the entire visible landscape within seconds.
I learned how to play Shonen Jump Superstars, which is surprisingly fun! I've also played a bit of the Japanese Elite Beat Agents  And totally screwed up the torture sequence of Metal Gear Solid, so I'm going to reload and do it again :/

They do have that charm. Hope your enjoying this game. I found this to be my favorite one so far.

Haven't been playing anything at the moment. A week or two ago I finished Catherine and got the ending with Katherine.

I'm playing Dragon Warrior VII right now and am determined to beat it this time. Having a broader knowledge of the Dragon Quest series in general, as well as a more intimate knowledge of the job system, is helping me I think.

Also playing Dragon Quest V for the DS since I recently just beat IV again.

I hate those scenes in MGS. Peacewalker has the worse one ever. Took me about an hour to beat it with pure luck :( My thumb wanted to fall off...

Anyway, playing Kinect Adventures and COD4 on the 360. Wanting to play the original Unreal on my computer when I can get my CD fixed.

When I get time (which seems like almost never) I want to beat Eternal Sonata... Unfortunately, I'm not even 2/7th of the way done, because I can't beat Tuba the second time (before anyone says anything, realize I'm on the PS3 version which is harder) I followed the instructions I read about spamming heal on whatshername, but if I don't block even ONE of his attacks, one of my characters dies. Once one dies, it's all over. Then there's the fact he gets 3 attacks for my one, and I sometimes get fake "turns" where I have a full timer, walk one step, and my turn is over. Yeah... Really annoying.
