Confusion and sin

Postby MrKrillz0r » Tue Jul 26, 2011 11:31 pm

Hey guys, I just need somewhere to write out my feelings right now. I'm feeling so sad right now and I've been crying for so long, and it just won't stop. I've completely messed up my life because I started to live more and more for myself, and it led me to all kinds of sin and I just kept falling further and further down even though I have had plenty of chances to change myself I chose this road. I know I deserve this and I can't get my head clear, not after I got one of the worst thoughts ever which were a attack against God's name. These thoughts have always been there ever since I was a little kid but I'm feeling so confused right now. Man I'm not even making sense with this message, but I ask of you to please pray for me.

What do you deserve? Confusion? Separation from God? Even death? Well, the bad news is that yeah, you probably did deserve it. The good news is that everything that you deserved, all your righteousness and unrighteousness, sin, shame, and offense, died on a cross about 2,000 years ago.

Look fully at what you've got yourself into, and see it on the cross with Jesus. Every sin in your life was dealt with 2,000 years ago. Every blasphemy you will ever utter was washed away in Jesus' blood. There is no longer anything that can keep God from you. A blasphemous thought pops into your head? Imagine yourself grabbing that thought and nailing it to the cross with Jesus.

Romans 8:38-39, NIV wrote:For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

You don't need to beat yourself up over your sin - Jesus took the beating for you. You don't need to worry that God will leave you or ignore your prayers because of sin - that sin was crucified with Jesus. You don't need to feel separated from God - He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Just think of the God who has already dealt with your sin at the root, meditate on the fact that He's already taken care of your sin, and put your salvation in His hands. You now find yourself under attack not from sin, but from the idea that you are separated from God. This idea is false. You can, at any time, and from any point, look to God and say "I am yours; save me." He will answer.
The cake used to be a lie like you, but then it took a portal to the deception core.

Wow it seems like you and I are in Very similar situations, Keep praying I will to! If you read a recent prayer post of mine about a week ago I was feeling very down about guilt and my sins. Reading the replies I realized that as Christians its like we are in a battle within against our sins and I realized I cant just shut down emotionally or give up in the middle of a battle when things get tough. Thinking about it like that made me start moving forward again! And remember your never fighting your sin alone when you have God on your side.
Also you have other Christians on your side when your prayed for remember that, knowing that others are praying for me gives me a real warm feeling, I think its one of the best feelings in the world to feel cared for. From other posts I gather you and I struggle with similar sins, addictions are something that can be broken over time, sometimes a Long period of time Its not easy but I think we can do it!

I'll be keeping you in my prayers. Remember that God will never turn his back on you as long as you always turn to Him and seek forgiveness. You are never 'to bad' to have a relationship with Jesus. He died for that very reason!
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

NIV, Romans 8:38-39.
