This caption was uncalled for, regardless of intent. If you meant it to be a troll then congrats, you pulled it off because I'm responding. You need to understand that the term "nerd" holds a very negative connotation amongst many social groups, and that many anime fans (the kinds of people who frequent this forum) have been called that very thing. You need to use a social filter when making comments. Just because you think it might be HILARIOUS doesn't mean that it will be. Use some common sense man.

Sorry, I usually joke around calling myself nerd so I didn't find it offensive. But thank you for your post, you enlightened me. Yes, I have been called nerd in the past, so I guess it was uncalled for.
