Ask Mental Anything

Postby Jingo Jaden » Fri Jun 17, 2011 6:07 am

I've been a member on CAA for many years now. I've enjoyed doing anything from being the great despot of the goof off to making a fairly sizable base of friends online here. Learning ever so much more about art, theology and the world we live in. A storm is brewing on the horizon and it is very likely you shall all die. Yet, you are fortunate enough to have enough time to talk to me, as I know it would be your greatest desire should your lives be near it's end.

Well...before we all die.... right now....I have been thinking about...
how in anime or manga they always show a character sticking their tonge and holding down one of thier eyes lower lids with one finger.
Is that kind of offensive in Japanese culture?
Or is just a funny childhiss gesture?
What would be an equivalent in other culture, let's say... American culture?

Aside for that,
Are you from Norway?
Are there any other countries you have visited or lived in?

Were you really born with skis on your feet?
What is your favorite type of beverage?
What percentage of taking over the world have you achieved thus far?

And, what first got you interested in creating art/3D funness?

Well, I would suppose it can be seen as a childish insult. Sort of cute, which the anime/manga style likes to focus on every now and then. Yet, an American comparison would be hard to pinpoint as they do quite similar stuff.

Are you from Norway?

Yes, lived there for most of my life.

Are there any other countries you have visited or lived in?

Lived in Norway and more recently in the United Kingdom.

Visited - France, Sweden, Danmark and Greece. Probably a few more, but it's hard to remember. It's been a long time since I joined my family on those types of vacations.

Were you really born with skis on your feet?

The history of my birth is rather strange. Firstly, a cave was formed. My mother gave birth to me in said cave. Then I was brought into Asgard, and it was revealed that by killing a serpent I was worthy enough to wield Odin's hammer. Then, I came to CAA, and saw that the mods had this awesome thing called the ban-hammer. I have thus been seeking it's rival ever since.

What is your favorite type of beverage?

Ohohoho.... That IS a tough question.

I've recently grown a taste for whiskey. There was this one that was just as old as me, with a slight honey/spice flavored start and a very strong edge with a long aftertaste. One could literally drinks drops of it, and the taste would fill the whole mouth. There was a good Martell XO cognac with this buy as well, but it fell short of the whiskey.

Then I am also a wine enthusiast, so, I'd say that my heart and answer to this question probably lies within the Amarone wine. The Del Classico 2004 version is a particular good year. While I do like some more age to wine, it's got a fairly fresh and dignified taste that makes it acceptable. Amarone styled wine is QUITE different to regular wine, and I've never really like the wine that is sold in stores ect. On a side note, Barolo wine is also great.

And as far as non alcoholic goes - Milk probably, but it's not much to jump up and down over.

What percentage of taking over the world have you achieved thus far?

Good question. See, I've won the world sphere a couple of times. Not too long ago I stole the identity of a US president and saw the ends to a certain union, my rival at the time fall. In the past, I've won the world sphere Through terrifying conquests, cultural reformations and the likes. Right now, I am planning on establishing a technocratic theocracy, since the modern developments have been rather boring. The spice is variety after all!

I'd say around 10% on a full scale world takeover. It's just in the early stages, but battle will ensure soon. I assure you. I've always wondered how continents would look being glassed by nukes.....

And, what first got you interested in creating art/3D funness?

The answer probably is jealousy. Now, I'd love to preach that I saw an ugly world and wanted to make it a bit prettier, but the truth probably is that I saw kids who could do some stuff I could not remotely do, and got mad, and wanted to do something they could not do related too that. Namely 3d, and from that surpass their fundamentals with computerized graphics thinking it would be easier. Well, it turned out not to quite work that way, but I kinda run with it, and now I am learning how to draw properly, redoing fundamentals and just overall cracking on.

And this I pray, that your love would abound still, more and more with real knowledge and all discernment. Be prepared to preach the gospel at a moment's notice. Do you know the gospel well enough to do so yourself? Be ready.

I wish you luck in your endeavor. What weapons do you prefer when facing an enemy? For ceremonial purposes? Just talking a walk?

I disagree. Milk is very much a drink to jump up and down over. Do you like chocolate milk?

I tend to drink hot chocolate every Sunday.

I got some outstanding debts with ninja monkeys and undead, but other than that, sure. Might as well.

How long have you been working with 3D modeling? What program did you start with?

The first 3d program I tried was an old version of 3ds max on windows ME. Was quite strange, but I did manage to change some materials I think.

Then maya during senior high. Did not really manage to get into that.

The first 3d program I could actually utilize after being taught was 3ds max 2008.

Chuck Norris: Is he really that awesome?

When I walk down the street Chuck Norris moves out of the way.

Favorite local saying?

"Winning is a habit. Unfortunately, so is losing."

Who's in your avatar?

Everyone's favorite intelligence officer- Hazama from BlazBlue.

Any truth to the rumor that you're sinking a lot of your money into a research project that's trying to make cheap electricity by punching things?

Any truth to the rumor that you're sinking a lot of your money into a research project that's trying to make cheap electricity by punching things?

See, there was one this project I started with George Foreman. It was a brilliant idea which was going to solve the electrical crisis and obesity problem 'albeit at the slight cost of a rise in domestic violence' at once. It first started out as a punching-bag generator which had a fair amount of output. Now, the good thing was that it produced sufficient amounts of energy. The bad thing was that hitting something made of metal had a bit of a negative customer feedback. What changed everything around was that we got a complaint from a local mob, that was fairly eco-conscious and liked our plans, but complained that it was not mobile or versatile enough. So we created the power glove 2.0. You could store batteries inside of it, punch at random stuff. Remove the batteries and place them into a generator and BAM, electrical crisis gone. Sadly, George Foreman got a bit of success with a side project selling grills, and only the mobs seemed to use my inventions. So I traded the patent in for a few nuclear missiles and everyone was happy ever since.

What is your favorite movie?

Gonna be a tough call, but I currently hold a thumb at the green mile.

What inspired you to take over the world?

Because gaining the world and keeping ones soul made for an interesting experiment.

Once you have taken over the world, will you allow flying cows?

We only have stuff scheduled for flying pigs, but I will see if I can fit something into the glorious parade..... And mandatory poetry watching............. Every Saturday........ For four hours straight.......
