Deppressed for no reason
I have a friend who is deppressed for seemingly no reason. She has been deppressed scence she was 10(15 now) .She's had many catscans but they found nothing. She had a theropist for a little while wich helped a little bit but deppressen set in again. He birth father is far form her (but she still loves him)and she lives with her current step-father and mother and sister, all of wich seem to love her vary much. She is bisexual but I don't really think that she's truely happy with that life styal, She used to live in Iceland (lives in the states now) and while she was in there a girl madeout with her aganist her will (note: this information is just here incase it helps bet a better understanding of he life and situation). She also goes through a lot more but its nothing like abuse(at least not physcal form what I can see) or any thing like that. Form what I can see is that she has something deep down that makes her sad but she's keep it repressed for so long that she has just seem to forgoten about it. I really don't know how to help her and I was hopeing someone who had faced the same problem might be able to help me get her some help.

I've heard and seen a few cases like that. And sometimes, its a medical condition. I don't know what to say about that because, I have friends who suffer from depression but the pills they take make them suicidal. Its a mess.
But I'm praying for her. Sounds like you both need it.

Praying for her. Some of her depression might be from being kissed against her will- that kind of thing is sexual abuse, and she should probably talk to a counselor about it.

Not a psychologist, won't pretend to be one. I'll be praying.
I can say from my own experience, depression can be caused by repressed/unresolved memories/problems, medical conditions or can be chemical imbalance.
Therapy can be immensly helpful as can seeing a doc to rule out any medical conditions. If its a chemical imbalance, there are medications that can help that as well.
Praying she gets some answers and praying for you as you be there for her. xxx

shes says the kiss diden't effect her but i'm shoure it did
