Prayer Needed

Postby Kunoichi » Tue Mar 08, 2011 7:03 am

Hey guys

I know I haven't posted on other's prayer requests. I have been praying and reading them however, so I apologize about not posting as such.

I am requesting prayer as my specialist has informed me that my situation with my spine is alot worse than we knew. Unfortunately it means alot of ramifications but I won't know more until another month. I'm also having additional testing. I'll update when I know of but would appreciate prayer for strength and that I will have the means to get to my appointments as that is in severe question. I believe God will provide but i know prayer from others is also good.

Thank you all and God bless

Kuno

Aw, I'm sorry about the bad news Kuno. :( I'll be praying for you.
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

NIV, Romans 8:38-39.

Update: despite alot of difficulties and obstacles, including an MRI machine breaking down, I was able to get my tests done. I am expecting one part of my test results back this week however my family is unable to take me to my appt. April 1st.

We aren't returning to that state until April 18th. The praise in this is that doc was able to mail in my scripts to my pharmacy here in Florida.

Please pray that whatever the results mean, that God will remain center. I'm going under alot of spiritual attack lately with many different angles.

Thanks for prayers. I'll update when I know results. xxx

Been praying for you, Kun. Remember that spiritual attacks are our opportunities to grow stronger and solidify in our trust of God. Hang in there, sister.

Update: They are supposed to mail scripts of my medication to my pharmacy. Found out yesterday that they never received. them I will be out of medication by April 1st. If that happens, its going to be a very bad situation. Please, please pray they get the scripts in time.

"The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things... hey... the good things don't always soften the bad things; but vice-versa the bad things don't necessarily spoil the good things and make them unimportant." -11th Doctor

"The advice I like to give young artists, or really anybody who’ll listen to me, is not to wait around for inspiration. Inspiration is for amateurs; the rest of us just show up and get to work. If you wait around for the clouds to part and a bolt of lightning to strike you in the brain, you are not going to make an awful lot of work. All the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself. Things occur to you. If you’re sitting around trying to dream up a great art idea, you can sit there a long time before anything happens. But if you just get to work, something will occur to you and something else will occur to you and something else that you reject will push you in another direction. Inspiration is absolutely unnecessary and somehow deceptive. You feel like you need this great idea before you can get down to work, and I find that’s almost never the case." - Chuck Close

Update: meds did get here in time. Saw a family doctor (1st time) and he and I both agree that my pain is being severely undertreated so I will be discussing with my specialist about that on the 19th.

Secondly, my family informed me they aren't taking me to my hospital appointment that i've waited 6 months to get. I could use some prayer. I'm going to be asking my specialist to see if he just wants to admit me when I see him to get the tests done. but who knows. Thanks
