What does the "SDG" in your signature stand for?

Seeing you like Arthurian legend, have you ever been to a Ren Faire?

Answer to first question: huh?
Answer to second question: no. I don't much like HP. LOL And no one has asked that question yet! ^_^

"SDG" is the sign off I use which is short for "Soli Deo Gloria". Its a Latin phrase which means "To God be the glory alone". Soli = Alone. Deo = God. Gloria = Glory. ^_^
I have not yet been to a Renaissance Faire simply for the fact that I am always missing it. It is really irritating me because every time there is a poster for one, I'm like, "Oh that will be so much fun to go visit!" and then I look at the date and find it ended two weeks ago. But I should really make a point of going this summer. no excuses. ^_^

Maybe you should look for a fair nearby on the web.
1. What's your favorite Weird Al song?
2. Have you seen his only movie, UHF?

Ya know, thats a good idea. The whole poster thing just isn't working out. lol
My favorite Weird Al song is "White and Nerdy" because it reminds me of some of my friends.
And no, I've never seen his movie! O.O is it as funny as the Onion News Network or his songs?

LOL the clips were funny!
Yes, I watched Star Trek. I think I've seen every episode of every series except Deep Space 9... oh, and Enterprise.
The Power Rangers... I think are racist. LOL no just kidding. I don't know anything about them except for when I was young, I really liked the white one and the green one... and the red one. LOL And then there were storm troopers.
Favorite food would be either pizza or bread or chicken/turkey pot pie, or apple pie, or pumpkin pie, or strawberry rhubarb pie, or doughnuts.

2. Ever watch any classic movies (like the kind Turner Classic Movies plays, from the 30's-70's?
3. Favorite Disney character (yes, Pixar counts)?

LOL the scariest really is relative. But it was Mars Attacks when I was 13 or so.
I am a huge fan of the classic movies. My favs include Shop Around the Corner, The Quiet Man, and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
Probably my fav Disney character was probably James P. Sulliven or Wally.

Okay, so I'm way too lazy to read your whole thread, so forgive me if I ask you something already asked. XD

Ever watched a musical? If so, what was your favorite(if you have one)?
Do you think that it's fun to unravel and wrap back up measuring tape?
Is school awesome or boring or just, "meh"?
Do you like Tolkien?
C.S.Lewis?
Diana Wynne Jones?
Alexandre Dumas?

It's fine if you ask me a question. :P I don't mind at all.

1. LOL Its ok, I'm too lazy to read it too. LOL :P Just joshin'
Yes, I have watched many musicals. And my favorite would be "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers".
2. uhm... no. do you?
3. If you mean everything from gradeschool to highschool, then absolutely AWESOME!!! XD Because I was homeschooled and it was AWESOME!!! College was a cross between boring and "meh".
4. Yes! I like Tolkien alot! His classic work is classic! XD Love The Lord of the Rings... and the histories of Middle Earth!
5. Jury is still out on C.S. Lewis.
6. Never heard of her, who is she?
7. I have read Dumas' books. And while I really liked the "Count of Monte Cristo", I hated "The Three Musketeers". If its a French author, I prefer Victor Hugo. But if its authors in general, my favorite would be Leo Tolstoy.

What are your favorite books? Favorite movies?

YES YES YES! :D :D :D it's very fun. Especially when I trail it all over the house. :D
What does "Jury is still out on C.S.Lewis" mean?
Diana Wynne Jones is an author who writes lots of kid books. Even though they're for kids, they're still really good. If you like books with lots of magic thought of in a creative way, and fantasy, Diana Wynne Jones is the author for you.

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH Error: You have asked a bookworm her favorite book. Question cannot be computed by the bookworm's brain. The brain will now self-destruct. 5,4,3,2,1, BOOOOOOOM

Ahem. Sorry, I went crazy there for a bit XD I'm a HUGE fan of "The Lord of the Rings"(which I need to read again....) "The Chronicles of Narnia" is pretty good too. I love "The Count of Monte Cristo" even though it left me scratching my head at the end. Anything by Diana Wynne Jones. Anything by Mary Higgins Clark.

Movies? Hrm......Idk XD I don't watch movies very often. I suppose if I was really pressed I'd say "Charade" and "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Phantom of the Opera"

So, do you play any instruments?
Do you know what "Gloria in Excelsis Deo" means?
Do you like or dislike metal rock?

I'm back! Hullo my Anime fam! So nice to be back... wow, I just need to stop leaving like that. Heh. LOL OK, so back on track with a little update. I am back to the old me! I have stopped worrying about the past and the future. And now I'm just enjoying all this wonderful anime (I just finished Baccano and I loved it!) and my new PS3! XD Ok, so that is what is new with my life, look forward to catching up with y'all! ^_^
Right, RB, you asked my favorite X-men member, that would be cyclops or wolverine. not sure which I like more... do you have a preference? And which Spiderman universe outfit looks the best?
Furen... I am not entirely certain what you are asking me... but I like cheese, especially swiss cheese. and Mozerela... in PIZZA!!!! XD So my question to you Furen is, what in the world does that question mean?
Heh, S10, sounds like you got alot of energy. Let me just encourage you to never drink an energy drink... or coffee... or probably soda. ^_^ LOL Just joshin with ya, drink whatever. LOL Anyway, what I mean on the "jury is still out on C.S. Lewis" is that there are things he has done that upset me enough for me to not like him, yet there are things I like about him. One the one hand, I like Chronicles of Narnia and some other stuff he said but on the other hand, he blasphemed the Psalms and took a universalistic attitude about salvation. So yeah, its kinda hard to say I really like a dude who said part of Scripture was "diabolicle". But, heh, I ain't trying to convince anyone about whether or not they should like him or no. I bet most everyone here really likes him. So I'm not going to try to be Johnny Raincloud here. ^_^
Don't play instruments... meybe the beatbox... but nothing "real". ^_^ I used to know what that meant. I know Gloria means Glory and Deo means God, but I have forgotten what Excelsis means. Could you remind me? Oh boy, S10, you're going to get me so buried here. To be honest, I hate Metal Rock. It gives me such an aking headache listening to it. Nah, I prefer the smooth sound of Rap, Hip Hop, or Pop Rock. ^_^ Heh, what do you think? Do you like it?

I've written a few poems. Starting it up again. I can't really single out a favorite poet, 'cause I've only read a few samples. I really need to gain a deeper appreciation of the masters. I really like "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" and Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats.

Let me recommend Lochinvar by Sir Walter Scott. One of my favorite poems of all time. So you have written poetry! Have you posted any on CAA? What is your style? What are your themes? What do you like to write about?

I don't remember ever posting one on CAA to be honest. Most are expressions of what I've gone through, or they're inspired by a certain special person ;). I tend to write in 4-line stanzas, usually 5 or 6 stanzas total. I guess you could say the meter is inspired/influenced by "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" and Longfellow's poem about Paul Revere.

Heh heh Writing about a special someone is a great reason to get into poetry. XD Second only to writing for the Lord! ^_^ But that is my own personal opinion as a poet. And if that is the reason, I would strongly recommend reading Shakespeare's Sonnets. i know they seem over rated, but if you read them, you will see they are just that good.

Next question. Is there one language out there you wish you could speak as clearly and fluently as English?

I took Spanish in both high school and college. I can read and understand most of what I'm reading (granted it's just what's in my college textbook which I've saved all these years), but speaking it, no dice. Especially when it comes to rolling my R's. My tongue just doesn't cooperate there.

If I had to choose one language, it would be Greek.
