Oh man, I had such a huge crush on Robin when I was a kid. Of course, that's not saying much, cause I was completely in love with Prince Phillip from Sleeping Beauty too.
Point was, that movie was beyond awesome. I remember crying when I thought Robin was dead...(I was an emotional kid that was way too easily drawn into stories, what can I say?)

Why am I posting in this thread? I would like to ask certain questions to each staff member in his/her Who's Who thread (with the exception being Shatterheart since he answered them in a different thread).

First, a few laid back questions.

1. In your first post in this thread, you used a certain text expression which is quoted here:
ShiroiHikari wrote:O__O
My question is: what does this text expression mean to you, personally?

2. You mentioned you have brown hair. What do you think about black hair? (You answered this in the Bishie thread, I believe, but I am repeating it for those who do not visit that thread.)

3. Compared to the rest of the staff, you change your avatar somewhat frequently. Which avatar has been your favorite so far?

4. I have never visited Oklahoma. Is there any information about that state that I should be aware about if I were to visit it?

Now, for the serious questions. I would really like to have your answers to these questions, but if you choose not to answer them, I understand, and I will not press you.

5. As a moderator of this site, I am sure you have a lot of responsibilities, and you try to be a good example for the rest of the members here.

So, why do this?

(I have read the FAQ before I joined, and I can assume that you "like doing this" in a general sense.)

6. From the start of your involvement, what were your personal motivations, intentions, and goals in participating in this project? Have they changed since then? How are you holding up to them?

7. Finally, you might have had some expectations for this site initially. Are things going as expected?

Now, I have one comment about your first post in this thread.

Hmmm...I dunno, a lot of the time when I don't have anything else to say, I say O___O hehe

Black hair is good! Looks best with light blue eyes. :3 I dyed my hair black once...

Good question...well, I really like my current one a lot. And I also liked my "Magus dancing" one. XD

It's boring and things close too early on weeknights.

Well, CAA is a ministry that really means a lot to me, so when I was offered the job of moderator I was really thrilled. Sometimes it's not a walk in the park, but it's rewarding. Which is what keeps me comin' back, I guess. :]

6. From the start of your involvement, what were your personal motivations, intentions, and goals in participating in this project? Have they changed since then? How are you holding up to them?

Well, I originally joined CAA because I had been looking for other Christians who enjoy anime, and I hung around for a while to see what would happen. Then when the chance to help out came along, I took it.

I'm not sure how to answer the last part of the question...might get back to you on that.

7. Finally, you might have had some expectations for this site initially. Are things going as expected?

Well, I expected there to be a few more projects going on, but even if we're not getting a manga out on the shelves, we're still doing something just by fellowshipping together.

Now, I have one comment about your first post in this thread.I respectfully disagree.

People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

Y'all need to move to Texas! ^______^

Anyway, it's nice to read about Shiroi. I really like your new avatar too - she was my favorite part in Kill Bill. "Tricks are for kids," "silly wabbit" hehe

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

Okay, so this thread is old, but I want to update it because nobody seems to know who I am anymore. XD

Let's see how I've changed since 2003, eh?

Location: Oklahoma. Bah.

I was in Texas for a while, but it was disastrous. I'm back in the ol' OKC. However, I'm much more happy with Oklahoma now that I live in an actual city and not a sad little excuse for a town.

Looks like: Brown hair, brown eyes. Nothing special.

Yep, I still have hair and eyes. Though I lost some weight, so now I'm not fat anymore. Which is always a good thing. I also generally have a more positive self-image.

Likes: Music, J-rock, movies, anime, sleeping, writing, drawing, talking to friends, playing Dance Dance Revolution, etc.

This is pretty much the same, though I don't play much DDR anymore. I also like cooking nowadays, whereas I hated it back then. Also, I've become a big time nostalgia addict. (See signature.)

Dislikes: Dialup internet, pop music, headaches, diet soda, fake ice cream, fake people, hypocrisy, and the list goes on.

This is also pretty much unchanged. Except now I just hate soda in any and all forms. Water is better. XD Also, when I said "pop music", I meant mainstream American music in general (e.g. rap, nu-metal, radio rock, etc.). I actually like poppy/catchy songs. ^^;

Favorite band: Oh boy. There are so many...uh, Five Iron Frenzy, Caedmon's Call, Jennifer Knapp (only her first album), Kevin Max, Linkin Park, some System of a Down stuff, Beck (Odelay, at least), DJ Tiesto, some of Moby's stuff, Apples in Stereo, X Japan, L'arc-en-ciel, Plastic Tree...uh...some stuff by Gackt...I guess that's it.

The only ones on this list that I still listen to regularly are L'arc and Gackt. I still like the other stuff, but have mostly moved on. I went through my infamous (to some) Coheed and Cambria phase, which has died way down recently. These days, I listen to a lot of anime music. And I mean a lot. Old stuff from the 70s, 80s and 90s, mostly.

Favorite movie: Errrrrrr...that's a long list too o_O Monty Python and the Holy Grail, SLC Punk, Moulin Rouge, Romeo + Juliet, Mallrats, Dogma, The Fifth Element, Star Wars Trilogy, Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, Disney's animated Robin Hood (shut up..), A Life Less Ordinary (it was silly, but cute), and probably more that I can't think of at the moment.

This has changed kind of a lot, actually. I don't like SLC Punk anymore, because...well, I've outgrown it, I guess. I also realized how horribly awful A Life Less Ordinary is and the story is much the same with Disney's Robin Hood. Most of the other movies remain on my list or in my collection. Just for the heck of it, have some more movies I like:

The Great Muppet Caper
Pride and Prejudice (2005)
The Sound of Music
1776
Alien
The Green Mile
Back to the Future
V For Vendetta

Oh good lord. Much to my relief, there's nothing there anymore. I've been keeping a Livejournal for the last four-and-a-half years, and I also have a nostalgia blog (again, see signature).

For the sake of being more complete, here's a list of some of my favorite anime.

In no particular order:

Mobile Suit Gundam movies 1-3
Sailor Moon R
Hajime no Ippo
G Gundam
Yuusha-ou GaoGaiGar
Sailor Moon S: The Movie (for nostalgic reasons!)
Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket
Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory
Cowboy Bebop
Ouran High School Host Club

Okay, I think that's enough. @_@ Any questions?
