My Grandmother

Postby Etoh*the*Greato » Fri Jan 14, 2011 11:21 am

Hey guys, I know I haven't been around lately... What I have is a bit of a joy mixed with sorrow, and a prayer request. My grandmother has been increasingly ill the last several months since her own mother died. My Mom and Aunt have been trading places driving out to Colorado to see her while she's basically living in a Hospital right now due to heart complications mixed with poisoning from the medicines they tried to treat her with. Due to all of it she's been suffering from near constant hallucinations - and this is a woman that just six months ago was hale and healthy, perfectly lucid.

My mother just sent me a text a few minutes ago before I came to make this request. Grandma has just accepted Christ! That's the good news. Everything else looks bleak, but maybe in the face of that there is hope. She's begging Mom to know how to cast the "demons" out of her head - the hallucinations she's having constantly. I tried to give what help I could and I'm praying not just for healing but more importantly for wisdom and guidenace for my Mom so she can help see Grandma through this spiritually while the doctors help her bodily.

Praise God that your grandmother accepted Christ! :D

I am sorry to hear that she is suffering so much. I said a prayer for her and your mom, friend.
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

"Since the creation of the Internet, the Earth's rotation has been fueled, primarily, by the collective spinning of English teachers in their graves."

I'll be praying to!
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

NIV, Romans 8:38-39.

Praying
If someone said 3 years from now
You'd be long gone
Id get up and punch their mouth
Cuz they're all wrong
I know better
Cuz you said forever
And ever
Who knew?

I'm praying for her. Whether this is spiritual or a mental disorder (which can happen at any age) I pray God will give her healing.
I am on the forefront of battle against the demons of earth. All Praise and Glory be given to God Forever and Ever!
