He lost his wife.

Postby Yuki-Anne » Wed Jan 12, 2011 10:55 pm

As I write this, there is a man I have not met talking to my pastor. He lost his wife on December 29th to cancer, and she was a believer. He has come to the church to ask Sensei about Jesus. Please pray that God would give him comfort, that He would make His love evident to this man, and that this man would be receptive to the gospel and come to faith in Christ.

Praying
If someone said 3 years from now
You'd be long gone
Id get up and punch their mouth
Cuz they're all wrong
I know better
Cuz you said forever
And ever
Who knew?

Aw, poor guy. I'm sure his wife is in a better place though. I'll be praying.
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

NIV, Romans 8:38-39.

Our lives are like a vapor. I will pray for him, for we only have one soul.
"Oh Lord lead him to believe in your Son Jesus Christ. amen"

im not trying to start a debate >.< i do that when i talk sometimes. but God lets some things happen so it will glorify him and i hope that his wife dieing woke him up and he can find the love for Jesus. and im glad that the wife is finally home and is not in pain anymore. and i pray not only for the husband but that all what happend glorifies God in some way.

God can definitely use this tragedy for the better. I love that we worship a God who can turn even the most horrible things around and bring gold out of ash.
