And...I'm slowly getting through Silence by Shusaku Endo...amazing (and troubling) thus far.
Do you like legal fiction thrillers? I haven't read John Grisham in many, many years, but almost all of his early books were excellent (A Time to Kill, The Firm, The Pellican Brief, The Rainmaker, The Client, The Chamber).
And...I'm slowly getting through Silence by Shusaku Endo...amazing (and troubling) thus far.

As for good boks I've read, I finished up an urban fantasy called The Stolen Child. Not something I'd recommend to anyone, but I loved it myself.
