Friend in need of prayer

Hey guys

I have a friend named Alexei who has systematic lupus. Well he's in the hospital because they think his kidney is rejecting (he had to have a transplant) and has jaundice. He is 19 and also does not know Christ. I've been trying to share the love of Christ with him so please pray that God softens his heart and gives me the wisdom (or someone else the wisdom) of what to say.

Will be praying. That sounds like it's gotta be painful...
And just thinking of pain...I believe that God works clearest in our suffering; that while we're in pain, that's when we're most apt to see reality and see the truth, however blinded by the pain we may be. I'll be praying God's hand guides you every step of the way, hon. And just remember, God can use the hard-of-heart, too, for lessons all-around. (Just look at the story of Moses and Pharoah, for instance!)

Thank you Okami and MrKr. I'm just hoping God opens his heart before it is too late. He's on the waiting list again for a new kidney but I haven't heard anything else. I'll keep this updated.
