4. Favorite C.S. Lewis book?
5. Favorite Beethoven piece?
1. Maybe. Not that I know of.
2. Yes...it's very strange. There's a couple things. First of all, unlike most religions here, there's very definitely idols sitting around. Of various sorts. One of the creepiest places is where there's rows and rows of little statues representing children who were stillborn or died at a young age. Sometimes people knit little caps for them or things like that. The religion's version of hell is not very nice to children...and its kind of ambiguous whether people respect the statues to bring their souls to peace, or to keep them from coming back to this world to torment their families. Next, it seems the people's duty is just to visit every once in a while, and it's the priests' full-time job to do the worshipping mostly. There's a lot of places where normal people aren't allowed to enter or look at. The last thing is that they'll often unabashedly combine a Buddhist temple and a Shinto temple together, despite the religions being somewhat opposed. There'll be a giant gold Buddha in one room, and a Shinto idol in another room...it's just kinda dumb.
3. I've studied Karate for 10 or 11 years. Besides that, the only remotely sport-like thing I've done is Bible Quizzing.
4. Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
5. Hm...I had a favorite, that I was playing on the piano many years back, but both the name and tune have escaped me. :|

3. Best holiday?
1. Trip to Japan. That was officially a birthday present, though I think it was also a Christmas present too. >.> It was really awesome though. The food is awesome and the sights are awesome and the rain is awesome and the artificial island Odaiba ("Platform City") is awesome...
2. I'm saving up for whatever I decide to buy when I decide to buy something. I'm not very ambitious. Maybe I'll get a new laptop when my current one decides to venture to the next world.
3. Best holiday? You mean the day that's a holiday I like most? Halloween, because I get to help decorate my house all creepyawesome. We have these black lights you see, which make everything glow...some of the best glowing things are:
- Regular white printer paper, which is pretty awesome.
- Those plastic seals that come on Breyer's ice cream cartons; BRIGHT purple, totally awesome, collect them all year and hang them all over our trees. They glow so brightly in UV light that you can see them glowing in mere sunlight.
- Almost anything marketed as glow-in-the-dark
- Almost anything of a fluorescent or neon color (the "higlighter" colors); stickers, pipe cleaners, you name it.
- Miscellaneous parts of trick-or-treaters' costumes, which entertains them to no end
- Some kinds of cheap transparent Scotch tape
- etc.
We also play creepy music out of speakers outside, with a really big subwoofer for ground-shaking bass. We almost always end up picking video game music since it's most suitable for being background music.
