My dad is being checked for colon cancer

Postby Garland » Sun Oct 24, 2010 5:00 pm

My dad is being checked out for colon cancer tomorrow, and I ask for prayer that no polyps are there that could become cancerous.

Thanks.

They didn't see anything like cancer, so that's a praise. He hasn't fully recovered yet, but he is doing better.

Thanks for the prayer.

So today I find out that the middle range of my dad's voice is weak right now, so he can't sing very easily. He thinks that the camera that they put down him might have irritated his vocal cords Please pray that his voice recovers and that there is no permanent damage.

Otherwise, he is doing fine.

The good news is that that will usually heal pretty quickly, usually within a few weeks. I'm glad the study was okay (my father is a colon-cancer survivor).
