XD Wonder why I never got around to this thread... Anyway.

For whatever reason I decided to make a pun off FullMetal Alchemist. After some poking around in my thesaurus (I was brain dead that morning, I guess XD) I came up with the word 'novelist'. So, I decided on Fullmetal Novelist.

But it didn't fit, so I took the vowels out of the first word. Now it looks kinda silly, but oh well. XD

And now you know.

The ST. in my name is actually my first two real initials and Attidude (the English root for "dude with an attitude.") is the name of my personal Mii.

One of my sisters suggested I should name my Mii, "Attitude" since she believes I have this constant attitude (of which I only half-deny). And that's when I decided to mix dude and attitude for a name...

Nothing else left to it.

Give me $1,000 and I will tell you and no it has nothing to do with a car.

This is the only hint you get: Go watch Fullmetal alchemist.

Otherwise, yeah, pay Roy the 1000 bucks, it's probably worth it. XD

Oh, so it's like "Ess-Tee." Okay. I was never sure whether it was an abbreviation for "Street" or "Saint," but it turns out it's neither.
Gosh, this thread is fascinating.

I was introduced to Strider Hiryu in Marvel vs Capcom 1. He has a totally awesome character and art design. The games aren't too bad either.

If I didn't choose Hiryu, my username would either be something Final Fantasy,Megaman, or Slayers-related.

Oh my goodness and the truth comes out. XD I never knew your username was stolen! XDD

Also so I'm not completely off topic, my username is from two sources, really--the PS1 game, Chrono Cross, and originally the text-based RPG, Radical Dreamers, which falls chronologically in between Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross. XD It's also a reference to my favorite video game character ever. XD

Except that kaemmerite isn't a mineral/rock - Googling it brings up stuff you've posted, and nothing about rocks. Kammerite, meanwhile, is a chromium-rich variety of chlorite. Adding to the gender confusion, it's also pink(ish-brown). Sorry to nitpick about obscure minerals, but they're quickly becoming my life.

If it's any consolation, though, I now want some kammerite for my collection.

Anyway, my name. My name's David, I decided to make it sound cool and all sci-fi; I was also 13 when I came up with it, when I felt it necessary to come up with an Internet handle of my own. (13's a cool number anyway, so it all works out.)

Long-ish story.

There are 2 interwoven threads here.

1. My friend's Biological father's name Is (was?) Robert, but they called him Bob. My friend named one character on every RPG Bob. It's a habit I picked up. Eventually, Bob became my default name when I wanted a hypothetical man (the girl's name would be Mary, and the third name would be Frank, though that came later)

2. My dad is an old fashioned guy. Helps that he's 78 (now). IN any case, when I was a teenager, I was at the doctor's office one day, and let the door shut in some old lady's face. My dad was FURIOUS. I'm a man, and should be opening the door for my elders and such... It has such a strong impact on me, I opened the door for nearly EVERYONE for the next almost 10 years. One of those years, I was in a summer program, and I was mad at everyone. I opened the door for someone, still angry, and they said thank you. I couldn't let it go without letting them know I wasn't doing it for nice reasons, but because I was programmed. I said "That's like saying thank you to a duck for quacking." She said "Thank you, duck, for quacking." Later on, a girl who later became my girlfriend (for about 3 months) said thank you to me when I held the door open for her and her campers (she was a counselor, I was program team) and I said "Hi. My name's Bob. I'm a duck." She said "So you're no longer Luke the man, but you're Bob the duck?" It kind of stuck. She called me Bob from then on.

I've gone through various names online, but I've always hated number extensions. Funny enough, I do have an email address with numbers, but it's just the year I made the name. Before that, I had gone by:

Mamochan - Because I was a huge Sailormoon fan who didn't understand the rules about name extensions
Fyrebrand - because I played a dragon on a text game
Pikachu - because... I was a dork
Leota (yeah, I sort of crossplayed on a text game, heh... Think this is called Quincying?) - because I grew up listening to Teddy Ruxpin. Another DIKU MUD character.
Yuffie (ditto) - Actually, I think this character was shared with a friend, and he mostly played her, not me.
Entrex B - after a Character I had made, Entrex Brocti
Einon - From Dragonheart. I still remember my password: whatoldcode heh... That was before I understood proper password security. I'd never make such a simple password now. Funny enough, I NEVER played evil alignment, even though Einon was the villain.
likebutteronrye (no clue what that was about...)
arigatou gozaimasu - because I didn't want a common name, and something Japanse seemed good. This was before the term Weeaboo existed, but I was in love with a Japan that didn't exist back then, though. I know much better about the real Japan, now.

I like music. A lot. I thought that something like "TrebleClef" or "Note" or "Tonic" would be boring as a username. I briefly considered "SupertonicHalfDiminished6/5" (seriously, I did), but that's way over the character limit, and it would be too much of a mouthful anyway (or fingerful, I guess, since we are typing :p). And if it was ever shortened to "Supertonic" that would totally defeat the purpose. So I decided to keep it simple. Cadence.
