Oh, I thought trolls were nasty as well. I never understood those at all, ever.

True that. I really like some of his work, but most of it just "meh..." at best. I always want to love it, because I have so many friends that do, but with what he's been making lately (Alice in Wonderland especially comes to mind), I'm just not feeling it.

Personally, i love Tim Burton. While it's annoying how popular he's become, and lets face it, half of all annoying scene kids wear something of his, i think his movies are amazing.

I like some of his movies, they're very strange, but some of them are just too creepy for me, even if I did like the overall movie.

Willy Wonka and Alice in Wonderland were the most recent of his I watched... I liked them because they were less "disturbing" than his 3D animation ones.

I think his stuff's so popular because it's different. It always has its own kind of air about it.

P.S. ZELOS!! :D

Well for me its the creepier the better. I wont go to an extreme though, because honestly i dont like most horror movies, but everyone likes different things. Which isn't a bad thing xD

P.S. HI!!! :D (I love how your reason was, "a wild Zelos appeared" xD)
I miss you.

Because you like lots of creepy stuff, I know you do. XD But I didn't know that you don't like horror...
I like weirdness, but I don't like super creepy stuff. I can handle some.

I guess while I'm here I should really be posting about a fad I don't like, but I can't think of any at the moment. .__.; Uh...

Converse with heels! I don't know if someone said these already, but I think they look terrible (although probably much more comfy than regular heels...)

P.S. OF COURSE, it's because that's what happened! 8D (lol, thanks)

No i dont like horror. Every horror movie ive ever seen has come clear across my moral boundry level for a movie. Ive never finished one. I can handle boys with scissors for hands, but some girl digging through her boyfriends organs? Thats a no... I know you dont, as you still havent played dead space (Which you WILL play... eventually xD lol).

P.S. WILD ZELOS RAN AWAY. XD

Well, don't get me wrong, I liked Sweeney Todd A LOT. Burton's at his best when he's not, like...writing. Or...giving any kind of real input.
For example, Big Fish, like RD said (Another movie I loved). Book adaptation.
Pee Wee's Big Adventure = adapted from a series of skits.

Everything "from the mind of" Tim Burton can go die.

Pee Wee and Beetlejuice were fantastic. The Tim Burton Batman movie also stands as my favorite Batman movie, yes, better than Batman Begins and Dark Knight.

However, Batman Returns was awful and pretty much everything after that, I don't even care about.

Oh yeah, and as far as Tarnish's statement, I know I've posted this before on here but...

Oh, all this talk of fads and horror movies has reminded me of one terrible horror movie fad: SAW.

There's gore-horror and then there's psychological-horror. Sounds like you've been watching the gore-horror. Hitchcock didn't really do the gore-horror, which makes it a lot more palatable for people. I'd recommend his stuff for anyone who doesn't do the "girlfriend digging through her boyfriends' organs". Because I don't like that stuff either..

Which is why I totally agree that the Saw movies are a terrible fad of a sort.

I'd say that The Nightmare Before Christmas is one of the worst fads of all time but it's not really a fad because it keeps lingering around. Waiting. In the shadows of a mall near you. Coming this fall. Rated R.

Ahem. As for Tim Burton, I really liked Edward Scissorhands and Pee Wee's Big Adventure, and Beetlejuice, sorta, but other than that...eh. Gonna have to respectfully disagree with Nate on Burton's Batman film. I thought it was lame.

That's okay, Nette. There's no law against being wrong.

EDIT: Also for proof that I am right I will submit the evidence of the Nostalgia Critic's "Old vs. New: Batman vs. Dark Knight."

Actually, at least where I live, Hot Topic is brightly lit. You can actually see more than three feet into the store. Another fad I remember, that are kind of like the silly bandz, are the Livestrong bracelets.
