True! As I said before, Anime = Samurai Champloo. Other favorites include Blood+, Baccano!, Durarara!!, Ghost in the Shell, and the Petshop of Horrors OVA.

Manga probably = Saiyuki by Kazuya Minekura. It's so beautiful and detailled and dramatic compared to the anime versions. Although other top titles are MARS and Eternal Sabbath by Fuyumi Soryo, Hot Gimmick by Miki Aihara, and other works by Kazuya Minekura [such as Wild Adapter].

Fave TV Show - the original Star Trek or The Mentalist. ^_^ I don't watch much TV.

Hmm, I don't have much on my walls at the moment, but when I was at college I definitely had posters of Sephiroth [FFVII:AC], Mugen [Samurai Champloo], Trinity Blood groupshot, and Genjo Sanzo as well as a Saiyuki groupshot. xD

Throughout my folks' house are scattered oil paintings of mine if that counts o.O

Keep asking, folks~ This is really fun!

Favorite animal - snow leopard. I've always thought they're so cool! As far as domestic animals, I love my dog!

Favorite artist - I like da Vinci, Magritte, and Dürer.

Least favorite food - Anything with unflavored ground beef. Not a fan.

1. Any of the pointless chick flicks my suitemates watched freshman year in college. I joined them for one and it was just ridiculous.
2. Just looked up the author on Wikipedia, selected the umlaut, CTRL + C, CTRL + V. <3 Works like a charm.
3. Oooh, I'd probably have to say classic Superman and Batman [when they first came out]. =D

My friend made a list of 'the greatest things ever' and among them was 'gas explosion at the scalpel factory' because she couldn't decide between 'sharp things' and 'things that go BOOM'. xD

Hm, I'd have to say I like the Bean in Millennium Park, window shopping by Michigan Avenue, the Museum of Modern Art in Chicago, the Art Institute [especially the sculpture wing], the Pilsen neighborhood and Chinatown, as well as Ty Warner Park out by where I live.

Bwahaha! High five from the burbs! Lessee. Deep-dish pizza probably. Giordano's is the only one I can think of, but I like Uno's as well. It's been awhile since I downed that much cheese, though. Gotta do it again!

Oooh, that's a tough one. I'd have to go with the Art Institute, although I remember the Field Museum being awesome as well. But I know more about the content of the Art Institute, so I'll settle with that one.

Favorite place in the US. Probably so far, I'd have to say HoneyRock, a camp up in Minnesota owned by Wheaton College. You can see the stars quite clearly up there, and when there's a meteor shower [like when I was up there once!]... it's truly breathtaking.

Strangest place I've ever visited? Hm. South of Houston, Texas. You cannot walk ANYWHERE. It's so odd for someone who's lived in the Chicago 'burbs all her life, where you can walk everywhere.

1. My favorite amusement park would be Six Flags, but I'm a total lightweight when it comes to rides. I'd much rather browse the shops [with all their silly sunglasses and hilarious karaoke]. I'm a fan of the Whizzer and the Viper, I guess.

2. Favorite anime characters: Jin from Samurai Champloo, Gojyo from Gensomaden Saiyuki, Robin from Witch Hunter Robin, Hatori from Fruits Basket, Badou from DOGS, and Nice, Jacuzzi, Chanet, and Claire/Vino from Baccano!. Plus whoever I've cosplayed. xD

3. Ooh, I like Olive Garden! And Taco Bell. And little non-chain places around my house, mostly in the vein of breakfasty or Mexican food.

4. My favorite food would have to be crackers or bagel chips. ^^ At least, snack-wise. I greatly prefer snacks to actual meals.

5. I do NOT. [heavy sarcasm] Psssht. Who needs THOSE. [/sarcasm] I am an only child and quite pleased with my situation. ^_^

6. I follow some fashion, but not very closely. That reminds me, I really ought to keep an eye out for that!

I love reading Bazaar magazine [which is haute couture], and I watch Top Model like a guy watches sports [i.e., yelling at the screen and criticizing the players], if that tells you anything xDD

The Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton is the only one I can think of at the moment.

rocklobster (post: 1422955) wrote:1. Favorite american comic book artists?

1. I don't know many American comic book artists, sadly. Derek Kirk Kim, the artist for 'Good as Lily' and Josh Howard, the artist for 'Clubbing' [both are Minx imprint oneshots]. As far as older stuff, I'd have to say Jack Davis or Lou Fine.
None of which I could think of off the top of my head.

2. Well, I definitely have a soft spot for Blur and its lead singer, Damon Albarn. However, I must add to my previous list and say Sting and the Police are pretty neat. [Juno Reactor, DJ Tiësto, Rihanna, etc. are others I enjoy]

3. Live-action TV Shows. Again, I don't watch much TV. But I do like the Original Star Trek, the Next Generation, and The Mentalist.

I'm not a Wheaton alumna... yet. I may still graduate from there, I am taking a break from schooling at this time. And indeed, 2006-2007 was my freshman year! How neat!
