Alien Swarm - free game

Has anyone heard of this game? I downloaded it the other day from Steam, absolutely free.

It's a 4 player top down shooter, features co-op and multiplayer too!

And this I pray, that your love would abound still, more and more with real knowledge and all discernment. Be prepared to preach the gospel at a moment's notice. Do you know the gospel well enough to do so yourself? Be ready.

From what I can tell, the basic premise seems to be similar to Left 4 Dead, only in a sci-fi setting with aliens instead of zombies. Essentially, an "alien swarm" has attacked and overwhelmed a lot of space colonies that humanity set up. The point of the game is to kill the aliens while fighting through a level. I've only played the first level by myself, so I'm probably not too knowledgeable on the story, but that seems to be the gist of it to me.

It seemed fun when I played it, but again, I haven't played it online with anyone so I can't attest to its quality there. Since I have Left 4 Dead 2, I haven't played it much, but it seems like a good game, especially since it's free. =D
