Half-Life?

So, I've been wanting to get into Half-Life, and after figuring out the order of the games (Half Life 1 to Half Life 2 to Half Life 2 episode 1 to Half Life 2 episode 2, right?), I'm trying to find a version of Half-Life for the PC, and as I go through Amazon I see numerous versions and I am left confused. If anyone knows a version that works well on a newer PC and that I'll be able to get easily, I would much appreciate it.
