The recommendation thread.

For all the music-lovers out there, this is your place to swap lyrics, talk about new bands and jazz about concerts. All things related to the audio world belong here.

The recommendation thread.

So, there are a lot of music fans here. And a lot of them are like me and love discovering new bands all the time...So I thought that we could make a thread where you can share bands that you like in the "if you like this, than try these guys" format.

So here's a few recommendations to start it off.

If you like Pheonix, check out Two Door Cinema Club.
If you like Cool Hand Luke and Waking Ashland, check out Standing Small.
If you like Cartel and Mae, try out Soletta.
If you like The Rocket Summer and Paramore, you need to try The Morning Of.

There's a few to start. Come and make your own suggestions.

If you like Shiny Toy Guns, you should check out Grafton Primary.
If you like The Killers, try out Sneaky Sound System.
If you like The Black Mages or Trans-Siberian Orchestra, give Dream Theater a try.
If you're into Dragonforce, listen to some Sonata Arctica.
For all you Nightwish fans, Dark Moor isn't half bad.
If you're into New Wave/synthpop, try out the soundtrack to the Iridion games - especially the arranged album.
