Mini-vacation --Safe travel

Postby Sheenar » Tue Aug 10, 2010 10:35 pm

I am going on a little mini-vacation. I am leaving today (Wed.) and returning on Friday. I am driving 3 1/2 hours to get together with some friends I haven't seen in years.

Please pray for safe travel for me and for endurance for the long drive. I do plan to stop every hour and a half (or when I start feeling tired) so I don't overdo it. Please pray for my get-together with my friends. Pray that our conversations will honor God and that I will be an encouragement to them and they to me as well.

Thank you. :D
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Thanks! It was great. A REALLY long drive home to Houston (longer than the drive up because I started farther west today), but it was great. Got to see good friends and have fun (and act like little kids some) and had a blast at Sea World in San Antonio today! :D
