But, and here's where I feel like I'm being a bit of a hypocrite, I don't mind blood and gore. I feel it's very hypocritical to not mind violence but be bothered by sexual innuendo. They're both bad, so why am I, and other people, bothered more by one but not the other?

Actually, to tell you the truth, I think we all can handle/take to different things...differently. My dad is actually the same way as you: He can take, what we call, "Death on a Stick" violence but not so much sexual stuff. My mom, however, can take sexual stuff but not a lot of violence. Different people seem to be able to take different things depending on what effects them the most. Someone who is have a drink for the first time is going to react differently to wine than someone who has been a recovering alcholic for a couple of years. I'm not saying that either sexual content or violence is good (they're bad of course), I'm just saying that people are all different. So, we have no right to judge you on what you watch(or call you a hypocrite). What you watch is between you and God, and we can't interfere or tell you what to do. :)

....okay, I don't wanna send us off topic. Just trying to give a tidbit of encouragement. Hope I didn't bore you with a long-ish paragraph.

Anyway....MORE QUESTIONS!

Do you like Winnie the Pooh?
If so, which character do you think you relate to the most?
Have you ever met/talked to/written to/e-mailed a popular VA?
If you could meet anyone from a book, who would you meet and why?
What anime character do you think you're most like?
Why is the rum always gon?
Where did I get the above question from?
Have you read any Star Wars books?
Have you ever seen anything that as soon as you laid eyes on it, it just took your breath away?
Have you ever seen anything that as soon as you laid eyes on it, it just made you burst into tears?
Have you ever seen anything that as soon as you laid eyes on it (and ever laid eyes on it again), you just break out laughing?

1. I have the theme song to the original movie. I own the original tapes of The Great Adventures of Winnie The Pooh... and the fun extra shows. Do I love it? YES!
2. No clue... I'm terrible at comparing myself to characters- I always come up with an answer, but my friends will stare at me and say 'no you're not like that at all!!!'
3. No. I've thought about it, but I don't know if they can read English!
4. No one, unless it was from a historical novel. King Henry the VIII, because then I could figure out his health problems, whether he was actually insane, and ask why he really cut of their heads!
5. See Winnie the Pooh answer.
6. Because some anime need to be watched with it >.>" Seriously
7. You just watched some One Piece?
8. Yes. My brother is a huge HUGE haf, so I read a few to see what his fuss was about. I thought they were okay, but nothing special.
9. Yes. Several pieces of jewelry, some candles that were exquisite, a lot of painings I saw in the Louvre, and everything in Versaille. Seriously, everything in Versaille.
10. No, not that I can think of.... unless you count dead relatives. Mostly because I'm afraid of dead people. :red:
11. Yes. But I'm afraid I don't have a link. But.... just yes.

You're writing a story and fanfiction?
What's your original story called?
What's the setting and plot?
Who are some of the characters?
What inspired such a story?
What kind of themes intertwine with it?
If/When your story is published, what do you hope readers get from it?

FANFICTION!!!!!
What are all the fandoms you write for?
What fandom do you mostly write about?
What fandom do you think you write about the least?
What kind of genre do you mostly write about with fanfiction? (romance, action, fantasy, etc...)
Do you post your fanfiction online?
If so, may we have a link if it's okay with you? :3!

Oh! OH! I know Legend of Zelda! I feel silly- I've really never seen it reffered by acronym

1.There's a cartoon? :o That sounds like it would be so wrong...
2.What songs are your faves?
4. What kinds of fanfics, and for what series?
1. Yes, a cartoon! It was pretty decent, but it wasn't the best out there.
2. John Denver's Country Roads and Leaving on a Jet Plane, a few by Taylor Swift, and some other I can't recal ATM...
4. Usually romance/adventure fanfics, for Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Mononoke, Artemis Fowl (a book series I like a lot), and I've had an idea for one for Haibane Renmei rattling around... Also, Avatar (movie with blue people) and Star Wars.
Do you like Wallace and Gromit, and/or any other Aardman stuff??
Do you think sewing machines are evil?
Your fave kind of cookie?

1. *ahem- with British accent* CHEESE! Walace and Grommit! Oh, they're so wonderful. My life is enriched with the CHEESE!
2. Depends on the machine- Mine is somewhat temperamental, but overall does the job I want it to do. Not that I use it that often, but it does the simple stitches that I usually want.
3. ..... Chocolate chip. Soft chocolate chip cookies- the crunchy ones are good, but soft are better :)

1.Yes, I am. I don't have a title for it yet- whenever I think of titles, I get writer's block, so I wait until I'm finished.
2. It's a fantasy story, so it's set in a world with elves and humans and other traditional fantasy races. Though in mine, the elves are the top dogs, humans not so much, so I'm hoping to stand out a bit because of that
3. I have an elven prince, and a half-elf priestess, and.... i haven't gotten that far yet  It's only the third chapter, so I'm thinking the king and a general from another country should be the main antagonists. But nothing is definite so far.
4. A dream I had. I have the wildest dreams. And there was an elf prince and a half-elf priestess, and a war going on. It was like the Romeo x Juliet anime- I think I watched it too close to going to bed
5. Themes..... Well. I'd have to say some themes are love and sacrifice- but also more specific like needing to work to make a relationship work, and ... I haven't gotten farther than that, though. I'm still in the early stages of it- third chapter.

FANFICTION!!!!!

If so, may we have a link if it's okay with you? :3!

1. Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Mononoke, Artemis Fowl (a book series I like a lot), Haibane Renmei, and the movie Avatar (the one with the blue people), and..... Okay, I feel silly, but Star Wars. I wrote a Star Wars fanfiction.... that's still in-progress. I also at one point was writing a lot of LOTR fanfiction. But I've found those in the process of packing, and am planning on using them to roast marshmallows tomorrow night. They were.... workable, but so fangirl :red:
2. Avatar:TLA. By far. I'm a huge Zutara fan, and was partially disappointed by the ending to the series!
3. Haibane Renmei. I only have the idea for a fanfic so far.
4. Romance/fantasy. I've been writing this genre since I was five, and read a huge amount of this genre, so it's the one I can navigate the best.
5. ..... Yes...... but I've looked over my stories, and I really have to rewrite them. No link until I do! :red: Yes, they are that bad.

On a side not, while I've been stalled by a lot of my stories, I have picked up Beta-ing for one of my friends who writes Artemis Fowl fanfiction..... at this point, I'm actually cowriting >.>" Ask her, and she'll tell you the reason I won't post links is because I'm a perfectionist- if it is too fangirly or fits too awkwardly with the world, it doesn't see the light of day.

2. What kind of super power would you want to have?
3. What's your favorite melee weapon (and no, I'm not talking about Super Smash Bros Melee.)

1. .... Indeed I have! I studied in England last fall, and I met a bunch of people from England, Ireland, and a few from Japan, and one from the Netherlands (my host family was hosting two other girls from other countries- it was AWESOME!). I've also met someone from Jamaica, and some people from Australia. And when I visited France, I talked to a few French people.
2. It would be so cool to be able to Earthbend like in Avatar: TLA! Toph is one of my most favorite characters EVER!
3. Well, I don't have a fave melee weapon, but my favorite weapons of choice are either the sai or the scythe. Both are just too cool for words!

1. No, I've neer played
2. I.... I don't have one. We didn't have a gamestation until I was... Oh, about 8th grade, so I never played any of the classic games.
3. UM.... LOTS! I can count off voice actors I don't like with ease, but I'd have to say, I enjoy the entire cast of Baccano! (both eastern and western VA's), Yui Makino - Sakura from Tsubasa (she's also one of my fave singers!), and I do enjoy Vic as Tamaki in Host Club!

Writing an original story? Cool!

Do you outline, or plunge write in?
Does your story occupy your mind, lurking in your semiconscious, practically all day so that you're 'obsessed' with it?
How do you come up with names? Or is that something you haven't done yet? (Tip: if you take a baby name book out from the library -which is, I think, a good idea if you can find a good book- make sure you explain why you want it!)
Do you have difficulty with 'theme'? Do you ignore it completely?
Do you enjoy writing and feel like you're somewhere else when you do it?
Have you read about writing? If so, what books?
Has your being a perfectionist ever annoyed you? (I'm a bit of a perfectionist too, when it comes to writing and the like..."No! Don't look! It's hideous!!!" XD)

Also, lol fudge. XD

Not of the piece I was eating- it's ALLL GOOONE! There is some left of the raspberry fudge, though (but it isn't particularly good, unfortunately).

1. When writing stories, I just plunge right in. I might get ideas for scenes I want to incorporate later, but outlining has never worked well for me, because as I write I find that this and that don't go so well, or this needs to bechanged for whatever reason.
2. Do I ever get obsessed with it! Oh, man, i's all I can think about in my free time- I keep around spare notebooks so I can write down scenes as they come to me!
3. Since I do fantasy stories, I don't usually use the baby name books- I like how Tolkiens' and others names sound, so I occasionally borrow and mix-n-match stuff. Well, I use baby name books occasionally, but only if I'm looking for an obscure name.
4. I ignore theme, for the most part. I mean, I write for enjoyment, not for people to learn stuff. And I am really bad at themes, so that works for me! XD
5. When I'm writing, it feels like I've entered a different part of my mind- I can see the scenes play out in my mind and type/write as I do, but if something starts going off from what I want, I can go back and change it- still in the same state of mind. I always thought that feeling was pretty cool, myself :)
6. I have taken a few writing classes in HS, but I picked up most of what I know from reading. Lots of reading. In the genre that I write in, and from other sources. If they affect me, then I go back and re-read, and figure out why that sentence was good, or what about the wording made it stand out. And then I take it from there.
7. Yes. Because I know that what I write is still better than 60% of the stuff out there, but then I look at the Great Amazing works of fanfiction (and I have read a few), and I think - 'I can't put this out there! People will know it just isn't as good as that, and I want to BE as good as that! NOOOO!' So I totally know what you mean! (especially about my early works- I recently found a few that I co-authored with one of my friends when we were in the sixth grade, and we read it together and cringed and were utterly horrified by it! The sad part is, it was STILL better than 40% of the stuff out there!)

Just so you know, these are AWESOME questions! I've never thought of these before!

Manga-ka: Yukako Kabei (Kieli- she did a fantastic job with the story)
Artist: Shiori Teshirogi (also Kieli. I love the stylization of the pictures- so pretty!)
Charrie designs/clothes designs: Kazuya Kuroda. In general, he does very lovely character designs. I'd be thrilled of he did them!

Director: Mamoru Hosoda. His movies get progressively better- the last two being The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and Summer Wars.
Production company: Madhouse. Who else?
Musicians? Hitoshi Sakimoto. I loved the music in Romeo x Juliet! He did a great job with that.
Singers? Utada Hikaru. I... LOVE... Utada Hikaru! She has such a beautiful voice! Though I'd also want one or two by Makino Yui. She's pretty darn awesome, too.
Orchestra: Chicago Philharmonic. I have to support my local large city! XD
Seiyuu: Yumi Touma (did Emma for Victorian Romance Emma) for the main female lead, and Jun Fukuyama (Kraft Lawrence for Spice and Wolf) for the male lead. Totally. I loved the jobs they did.
English VA's: Not Vic. I love him, but his voice just wouldn't fit! Other than that, I'm really not sure. I'm not as versed in English VA's than I should be
Distributor: Funimation. They do good work. I really like most of their releases, an the extras that come with them.

Well, just to start this thread back up....

Just got back from a vacation in California! My grandma turned 90 and is still going strong (strong enough that she confided in me that she had gotten a tattoo of a strawberry when she was 86- she figured that she was nearing the end of her life and decided to do something wild. Little did she know! XD ). And it was a PARTY! Tons of food, mostly cooked by one person (not me!), and a huge amount of guests. It was great! And I have the sunburn to prove what a great time I had outside! XD

Where do I even begin?!

I like Titan A.E., I, Robot, A.I. Artificial Intelligence (made me cry), Children of Men, the Star Wars series, Galaxy Quest.... I think I'll leave it at that. Those are my most favorites out of all, I think!

What is your university major?

Worst movie you've ever seen?

Do you watch the Discovery Channel?

Biology. Why? Well, because it seems like it would give me the opportunity to learn about all sorts of animals and the possible perk of travelling for work! (And I was surprised to find out how long I've wanted to be a biologist. I was talking to my optometrist, and me looked in his file and said "You know, when you were nine, I asked you what you wanted to be and you said a biologist." It was a cool moment! For both finding that out and realizing my optometrist cared about stuff like that XD )

This one anime movie called "The Laws of Eternity". It's what you get when someone mishmashes New Age beliefs, unicornizes them, and then animates them. I was totally not offended by the beliefs (I sorta study other religions in my spare time), but seeing them misrepresented both horrified me and made me laugh the whole time! I still don't know what to think of that movie!

YES! Mythbusters FOREVER! I love their specials, I love most of their shows.... The discovery channel is so awesome! XD ANd right now I'm totally watching Shark Week. I love it!

1. TNG, because I haven't seen the original  I keep meaning to, but I just have too many other things that take priority

2. Uhhh.... I'd go with whatever I read in HS that was by Hemmingway (no, it wasn't The Old Man and the Sea). It was terrible!

3. On my trip to Cali I read part of American Gods. I.... still don't know if I like it enough to finish it.

1. .....No...... But I've heard terrific things about it!
2. Never really had any interest. I heard it's a lot of thinking/dialogue, and I rarely have the patenince for that.
3. No problem- you haven't! Erm.... I have to say Coldplay! One of my fave alternatives, though I also enjoy some Audioslave, Flogging Molly, OK Go, Oasis (it was a close call between Coldplay and OK Go, though!)

I never said welcome (Because I wasn't here when you joined)
May I welcome you?

and just because this is an interrogation thread:
Where you on the night of tonight on the time of yesterday?
And this I pray, that your love would abound still, more and more with real knowledge and all discernment. Be prepared to preach the gospel at a moment's notice. Do you know the gospel well enough to do so yourself? Be ready.
