Listened to a song or two by them but I wouldn't consider myself as a fan. :D

I love Switchfoot!! I like all their more well-known stuff, like "Oh! Gravity!", "Mess of Me", "Stars", "Meant to Live", etc., etc. However, I love some of their lesser-known songs. "Beautiful Letdown" is a great song to reflect on the lyrics. "Twenty-Four" is well, confusing, but it's a great song. "Adding to the Noise" from Beautiful Letdown is really funny with a point- which is great!! "If I'm adding to the noise, turn off this song!"

Sister, you forgot "Gone"!!! XD I love that song. Yes, I love Switchfoot I bought a t-shirt, a poster, and the best of CD at a concert a year ago.

However, "Twenty-four" is actually quite a nice reflection piece when you know the background. Jon Forman wrote the song just before he turned 24, and its a little bit of a look back on his life so far.

And I can't BELIEVE Tama forgot "This is Home," the insert song written for Prince Caspian. For shame, what kind of narnia fan are you???" :shake::grin:

That song made me cry at the concert because a missionary kid friend of mine said it embodies what she feels for the country is in ministry in.

"American Dream" is kind of an obscure fav, cuz its a reflection on American life. "Company Car" is also thoughts on society.

Not a huge fan, but I have two cds, and Needle and Haystack Life is one of my favorites of their more recent music. :)

I'm sorry for forgetting "This is Home"!!! (What kind of Narnia fan am I?! :bang:) I do love that song. And I'm sorry for forgetting "Gone"!! "Gone" IS an amazing song, especially in the lyrics spectrum.

I refuse to choose a switchfoot song as a fav. They're all too awesome XD.

I love to play "meant to live" on guitar though.

I am not a fan, but I do like a couple of their songs: “Meant to Live” and “Life and Love and Why.”

I generally like them, especially their older stuff. My favorite song of theirs is relatively new, though:

Faust, Midas, and Myself
Where an Eidolon, named night, on a black throne reigns upright.

I like Switchfoot a lot. I've got all their CDs except Hello Hurricane.
I've shaken Jon Foreman's hand. And his solo acoustic stuff is good too.
On bass I can play (more than just playing around) Meant To Live, This Is Your Life, More Than Fine, On Fire, Innocence Again.

Just randomly, Learning To Breathe is a whole new experience when you have a subwoofer pumping out sub-100Hz.. :D

And why not have some song graphs?

"Ment to Live" and "This is Home" are my favorites! I'll admit I'm probably more of a Casting Crowns fan thought... in rank my top five christian bands!

1. Casting crowns

2. Switch Foot

3. 10th Avenue North

4. Sanctus Real

5. David Crowder (for his "O Praise Him)

I like their older music I wasn't a big fan when it came to oh gravity
And this I pray, that your love would abound still, more and more with real knowledge and all discernment. Be prepared to preach the gospel at a moment's notice. Do you know the gospel well enough to do so yourself? Be ready.
