Dumbest prayer request ever :\

I know this is going to sound stupid, but I really need some prayer over this.

So, I've had to deal with a lot of flea infestations in the past, some of which were my fault (i.e. I was the one that brought the animals inside that had the fleas) but most of which were not.

The last time I dealt with this, it got out of hand almost overnight, and I had to work nonstop for a couple of months to get rid of them, using rock salt and borax and vacuuming EVERY SINGLE DAY without fail, all while getting bitten constantly.

I pretty much did get rid of them, but then we moved into our current place, which was infested with roaches before we moved in, and then I had to deal with THAT, too. The roaches are long gone by now, thank God, but today as I was driving my husband to work, I found a flea biting me on the arm. I said to myself, oh no. Where could it have come from? Maybe it was just a fluke.

But then after I walked from the parking lot to my apartment, I stopped on my porch and looked at my pants-- there was another flea on them. There aren't any in my apartment, so there must be fleas in the lawn outside. It's the only logical conclusion. And if they're outside, the chances of me keeping them out of my apartment are not good. Like it or not, I have to go outside sometime and so does my husband.

I cannot deal with something like this again. These sorts of things greatly upset me-- I hate insects of just about any kind. And I can't stand fleas biting me. It feels like mosquitoes are biting me. And unless I buy the chemicals and treat it myself, I doubt the outside lawn will get dealt with.

I don't think anyone will understand, but I really need some prayer over this-- the last time this happened, I was breaking down in a panic just about every single day. I can't handle it again. Please pray that this does not become a problem.

Yeah, that's not a dumb request. No one wants parasites infesting their home. Especially when they're as irritating as fleas. Will do.

Definitely praying for this situation! I've never dealt with fleas, but cockroaches terrify me and will bring my life and whatever I'm doing to a screeching halt. XD I can imagine that keeping the unwanted pests at bay is seriously taxing, especially given all the work you mentioned, and that's stress that you definitely don't need! Praying that this gets resolved soon!

Not stupid at all. I've had flea infestations before in previous living arrangements and they are extremely hard to get under control once they're present. Plus the fact that fleas can and do carry some nasty things.

Try diatomaceous earth on your lawn. It's an effective alternative to pesticides.

I could still use some prayer. I've seen a few roaches in my apartment over the last few days and it's making me absolutely insane. I pretty much didn't sleep last night at all. The apartment manager said they were coming out to spray some other units today anyway and said she would have them spray mine too. I hope they do.
