My sister metioned at a con (was it AWA?) that Pikabella (or whatever her name is) said that Nintendo might be making a game where you play as Team Rocket (but I think that's fairly common knowledge).

I dunno. I think Ash may be on his way out. Ash has shown a level of actual competence in the Sinnoh region. Heck, he's on his way to getting a freaking uber level Pokemon, Garchomp. It's a marked change from his usual Pokemon roster, which consists of "If it's strong, let it free or give it to Professor Oak. If it's weak, keep it." He actually may have a shot at beating the Elite Four in this arc...FOR ONCE. And if he does, I can't see him being the star anymore because honestly, how can you go from Pokemon League Champion to being beaten by a weak random trainer in the new region? Since that's always what happens every time he goes to a new region.
