March Madness '10

Postby Peanut » Sun Mar 14, 2010 4:43 pm

Well, its selection Sunday and the brackets for this years NCAA Tournament have been revealed. So this thread is for that tournament, its madness, and, the best part of March Madness, brackets.

It may be a little to late to start this, but I figure I might as well try since I've got nothing better to do I might as well try and renew CAA's Tourney Pick'em group from last year. Once again we will be competing for bragging rights and nothing more. You do not need to know anything about Basketball or College Basketball to participate. Coin flip brackets (though we've never had one...) can be pretty entertaining. If you actually want to try, Yahoo has some tools to help you make your picks. And hey, if you do well then those of us who know what we are doing will feel...terrible. All you need to play is a yahoo id (which is free) and the following info:

Group Name: CAA Tourney Pick'em
Password: blah
Group Number: 76277
Link: http://tournament.fantasysports.yahoo.com/t1/group/76277?ng=1

A couple of you have already been invited because you participated last year...so just check your yahoo mail...thing.

I'm getting a "password incorrect" error. Anyone else having this problem?

Edit: I think I see it, the group ID should be 76277, based on the group url.

Besides Gonzaga, the local favorite around these parts, and the NCAA tournament, I don't watch college basketball. Which is why I'm joining anyway. Yay. Anyway, good luck to everyone!

That's the beauty of March Madness. Someone who watches religiously has as much chance of doing well in the bracket as someone who watches casually or not at all. And it's equally enjoyable no matter how you're bracket falls.

I had a coworker a few years back that locked himself in his office every time march madness came around. He had a TV in there and would basically watch all day long and not really accomplish anything. It was pretty awful. He's not employed there anymore. Go fig. >.> That's pretty much the entirety of my knowledge of MM. XD
