Postby Midknight74012 » Mon Feb 15, 2010 12:47 pm

@Tsuku, I don't know. I am also in the dark. But my sister and I are going to do something special for her. I bought her a bento box for her last week and my sis and I are going to make a little lunch for her, including a chocolate bar, as well as handwritten notes from the both of us.

Pancakes with syrup, an orange, carrots, cottage cheese, and some tea. Hope this cheers her up.

The best thing you can do for her is just listen, don't make any judgements/comments/suggestions. The best cure for this type of situation is just to have someone to confide in, be it god, or your children.

Also I'm a fan of monkey paw tea myself.

Very true GAINAX. Good advice.

And, I'll be praying for you and your mom

I imagine there is no harder decision than to say no to a potential spouse who you might have said yes to. And given this is a woman who already has been through relationships before (assuming this, given your existence) the doubts and worries must be much worse.

But one of the worst things she can do now is to wall herself off from him, trying to insulate her and his feelings. Be her friend, but counsel her to be his friend.
May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May He cause His face to shine upon you.
May He lift up His countenance and grant you peace.

EricTheFred: Vikings are always a valid answer.
