I say get another Xbox or a fast PC. GameCube games get kinda boring after a while. and all the ps2 games i have played take a long time to get started. they kinda repeat them selves over and over. Halo, now thats different. u can have so many variations in multi play. i say it is the best multi play game. the only weak point in its multyplay, is it cant go live. If u get a faster pc and halo, u get new maps, veichles, and weapons. the flamethrower rocks!

Actually this is comparing Apples and Oranges...I think that you can;t really compare these two against each other. But thats just me :sweat:

I kinda agree... I think it just depends on your gaming preferences. IMO, PlayStation has most of the good RPG games, while GameCube excels at multiplayer & level games. GameCube was the most affordable for me, and since I already had a GameBoy advance, e-cards, and eventually a link cable... there are just so many accessories for the GC that I thought it would be the best value for me.

GameCube when the kiddies are around or I have more then 2 friends over who want to play. PS2 when I'm by myself or just have one other person over.

I played SSBM, after a while, it get boring (2 easy) MarioPArty 4, same as all the others, starfox, i don't get the controls, it was pretty confusing.

for ps2, some racing games, final fantasy, rachet and clank.

they all got pretty boring.

Try Super Mario Sunshine, Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life, Metroid Prime, Mario Kart DD, and Skies of Arcadia, you can't judge every game on a system is boring just by playing a few.

Halo is only fun in groups. FPS games suck when you're alone. Of course, it's all just a matter of taste.

maybe I should jsut get another XBox. From what I've read the PS2 is the weakest whe it comes to grafx. but hten id never get to play budokai... well both would come to GC, but it requires memory. XBox has a hard drive. And i'd miss my blood wake...

Just get another Xbox, losts of great games out and comming like Splinter Cell: PT, Ninja Gaiden, Rainbow Six 3, Full spectrum warrior, Halo 2, Half-Life 2, MechAssault, and for all you worm lovers, Worms 3D. With live, you can game with other people, when ur alone. make sure u have a fast internet connection, or u cant get it. from live, you can get updates, maps, and trailers. You also can talk with people with the voice communicator headset. It has a big hard drive, so you can save music on it. you don't need memory cards unless u r tansfering. you also ccan link 4 Xbox's together to have som massive games.

well we all ready of cable internet and my parents wont let me go live with the xbox. I really dont care that much for FPS, but half life I really want to play. just how many of thses games are ever gonna come to pc?

You can bet that many of the games that are released on the Xbox. Half Life 2 will definitely be released on the PC, probably before it comes out on Xbox.

This brings me to another point. Many of Xbox's best titles (include the game that made the system, Halo) are available on PC]already [/i]have a way to play music while you play console games, so that Xbox feature is also something of a non-issue.

That is unless you have a really old PC and can't play the PC verions of XBox games (Halo, KotOR, Morrowind, Deus Ex: IW, Theif: DS, etc.)

There is the advantage of the XBox over a PC in that those games will run just as good for everyone, don't require having to tweak and edit system settings, and there are games that don't translate as well to a PC (how many good fighter games have you seen on the PC for example).

There are advantages to Live over standard online games, same name for all games, not just anyone can play, etc.
