Any Christian synthpop/electronic music out there?

Postby theanimeguy » Fri Oct 16, 2009 7:26 am

I'm a huge fan of British New Wave music from the 80s but I was wondering if their are any synthpop/electronic Christian bands out there. Ones with sounds similar to Depache Mode, Pet Shop Boys, New Order, Erasure, etc. I already like Joy Electric, The Echoing Green and Andy Hunter. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Sure, here's some good ones I've turned up in 3 years of Internet radio broadcasting:

ThouShaltNot
Adom9
Apoptygma Berzerk
The Brothers Martin
The Foxglove Hunt
Machine Made Pleasure
Mad at the World
Paradoxx

And if you expand your query to include Darkwave and/or Industrial music, I can give you even more bands.

btw, if you like that kinda stuff, you might like Family Force Five. They're a lot of fun.

Great suggestion, except the opening post mentions theanimeguy already likes Joy Electric and The Echoing Green.

Well Ghost already said some of the ones I was going to but anyway...

Bon Voyage
Dancehouse Children
Owl City
Apt Core (Kinda Experimental Techno/synthpop)
Mortal (Older is more synthpop, newer more dark industrial)
DBA (More techno along the lines of Andy Hunter, actually they helped alot on his newest album)

As with Ghost if you also want a more expansive list of all sorts of electronica than I could help more.
