Awsome singers thread

I thought I'd post a thread where you can post videos of really good singers here. Just for fun and for musical interest. Go ahead and post videos if you want, (just warn of any content). With that said:

There's a version of I'll Be There with the backing music removed, leaving only the vocals. It gives me chills.

Karen Carpenter is probably my all-time favorite vocalist though:

Roy Khan from the band Kamelot has an amazing voice IMO.
Abandoned
Edge of Paradise

Another favorite of mine is Geoff Tate from the band Queensryche. Probably my second favorite male vocalist behind Roy Khan.
Another Rainy Night
Empire

And for my favorite female vocalist... no one beats Tarja Turunen, former singer of the band Nightwish.
Sleeping Sun (also one of my all time favorite songs right there)
Nemo

Danny Elfman, known for his film scores (such as "Batman", "Edward Scissorhands", and "Spider-Man") as well as writing the music for and providing the singing voice to Jack Skellington in "The Nightmare Before Christmas" was in an old rock band called Oingo Boingo. Here'a a video of him YODELING which I find pretty awesome.

"To be a good listener, you must acquire a musical culture...you must be familiar with the history and development of music, you must listen...to receive music you have to open your ears and wait for the music, you must believe that it is something you need ...to listen is an effort, and just to hear has no merit. A duck hears also." - Igor Stravinsky

Some of my favorite videos for some of my favorite songs are:
Whispers In The Dark -- Skillet
New Medicines -- Dead Poetic

BTW, nothing bad in either of them --videos nor songs--, besides, they're both Christian bands.

More good songs, but not necessarily my favorite videos:
Death Of Me -- RED

And if you like loud, and/or heavy music:
Undying -- Demon Hunter (Scream/growling and melody in this one.)
Apparitions Of Melody -- Kids In The Way (Not quite as loud/heavy as the other. Some screaming, which is why I put it in here.))

This isn't all of them for sure, but I can't think of EVERYTHING right now.

Oh! I LOVE LOVE Josh Groban!!!! So glad someone posted him! His voice is like a dream. I got to see him in concert once; he came up through an elevator under the stage singing "You Are Loved." :P

I thought maybe I'd post my favorite female singer, Sharon den Adel. My dream is to have her and Josh sing a duet (I know it will never happen lol.)
