Super Street Fighter 4

Postby Riggidig » Wed Sep 30, 2009 1:37 am

As some/most/all of you know, Super Street Fighter 4 is officially on its way.

What do you guys reckon? Do you think it's too soon? Do you think it's worth it to shell out more cash for yet ANOTHER updated Street Fighter game? Seeing as there will be so many new features (8 - 10 new characters alone, new backgrounds, new moves, more ultras, etc etc etc etc etc), and the game will retail for less than that of a new title, I personally think it's worth it :thumb: I mean, the game itself is basically a year away from being released anyway.

I myself don't own either a PS3 or an XBOX 360, but if I do get myself one (sometime next year hopefully), I will most certainly get myself both the original AND this new one (seeing as, according to sources, you'll be able to unlock bonus content if you own the original game as well).

So what do you guys think? Discuss?

I will definatly be picking this up for sure!

Street Fighter update releases are like an age old tradition, passed on to consoles generation after generation. So I am totally used to these upgrades and I cannot wait to play Deejay again. :thumb:

Sdzero have you seen the video clip of the Tokyo gameshow on Youtube showcasing T. Hawk and Juri and how they actually play?

I watched that late last night. Just what Street Fighter IV needs: another huge character that hits like a freight train. Honestly, I'm kind of excited about T.Hawk and Juri, though. I can't wait to get my grubby hands on this game. I also like the idea of two Ultra combos per character, which I think should have been included in the first game.
I'm a shoe-in for hater of the year.

Super Street Fighter IV gets price and release
"Regardless of your feelings towards the new Street Fighter iteration coming out soon (Super Street Figther IV), there remains a large percentage of people who are quite excited for the new game. And now those people will be able to get even more excited, due to this leaked price and release date.

The good news is that the upgraded, tweaked, new characters added version of SFIV will only set you back $40. The bad news is that fans will have to wait until March 23 next year until they will have access to the game.

Personally I'm pretty "meh" about Street Fighter in general, but then I guess I am in the minority. What are your views on the subject?"

Woohoo! :jump: I hope this news is true!
