We Need to Pray for this Girl

We need to keep this girl, and this whole situation in our prayers. After reading the article, I don't really know what to think. Some of the details are pretty sketchy, but the whole thing kinda freaks me out. At any rate, I feel great sympathy for her and she definitely needs prayer. Oh, and let's try to keep any discussion civil, okay? :poke:

Do not be overrighteous, neither be overwise—
why destroy yourself?

Do not be overwicked, and do not be a fool—
why die before your time?

It is good to grasp the one and not let go of the other.
The man who fears God will avoid all extremes.

I-I'm not really sure what to believe :-? My first instinct is to believe her, but at the same time.. I'm not sure :-? There's a possibility she's just trying to find a way out of Ohio (it is pretty small here), but what if what she claims is true? We have no way of knowing either way <_>

That said, I'll pray nonetheless that everything works out ^^

I think we should pray for her parents too. Best case scenario, they really do want their daughter back and love her and do not wish to harm her, and they are getting portrayed as monsters by the girl's defense lawyer, which has to be doubly hard on them, so they need strength and comfort.

Worst case scenario, they really do wish their daughter harm, in which case they need to have their eyes opened and their hearts softened.

I'll be praying for her. It's gotta be tough on all levels.

mechana2015: Does that answer your question?

K. Ayato: Perfectly.

That's totally true. We need to pray for the whole family, and everyone else involved. This is the sort of thing that can have widespread and devastating consequences, especially since the thousands of people on the outside taking it to heart don't know all the details.
