I want. But I suck at 2d fighting games. I'll wait until it is cheaper.

It's 60 bucks but you get a bunch of extra junk with it, i.e. a 2-disc OST. So it might be a good investment to just buy the Limited Edition if you can find a copy; if not I totally understand. Sometimes 10 or 15 bucks can make a big difference.

In six months the limited edition will be on the shelf next to the regular for the same price at my local mom and pops. hehe

I just finished the 'belief' story on bang who quickly became my favorite character. Finished with everyone on the arcade and I am starting to 100% finish most the story options too.

I would have asked this question about getting it on the PS3 last year.

Of course you're not. It's just sad that PS3 and 360 can't play together... yet. Final Fantasy XIV may change that... for one game, of course.

Play on your console of choice. That said, 2d fighters work better with funcitoning D-Pads, for which the 360 doesn't have a lot of options.

And I totally agree with Bob here. I really wish there was a way to bring the networks together on some games for crossplay.

By the by, anyone buy those small Xbox Streetfighter Controllers? How are the Dpads on those?

Dood, I was just saying that cause people were giving out PSN names like free candy. I definitely plan on getting this game in the future (and I don't even have a PS3.)

I borderline suck with anybody but Ragna and Jin, with whom I moderately suck. I definitely suck with Rachel.

I think we're all in good company.

I was kind of learning how to use Rachel but it's really difficult. Everyone is so darn technical, arrghhhh.

Jin's easy to use though. But he's cheap. And a crazy weirdo.

Hello ShiroiHikari! Long time no see. :-)

This one's been a 'must-own' since I first heard about it. The fighting game enthusiast in me is tickled pink at the resurgence the genre's been getting...and BlazBlue just looks amazing. I will happily challenge you the day I hold this game aloft. My PSN is IchiTone.

But you might be waiting until the game goes 'Greatest Hits'. I'm a cheap gamer with expensive tastes. ^_^

Just got it from Gamefly (so it's a rental, of course)

It's... Really slow. I guess I'm used to SFA, and I think even MK2 is faster than this game. Even so, I always seem to make it through the first half of Arcade mode without breaking a sweat, then 2nd or 3rd fight on the second row, and I die.

I've got a guilty gear loving friend ([button="Hmm"]who I plan on buying a PS3 for once I*m in Korea... Heheh, head him off while he*s teetering between the two... 320 dollars plus tax he doesn*t have to pay would make for some pretty good convincing... Plus he and his wife have always been good to me, so I figure I could repay them in a way that just happens to benefit me too, with another person to play online and go on home with...[/button]) and I want to show this game to him. More his style than mine.

I've used only 2 Characters... The evil-looking dumb playful Catgirl, and the Girl Cop... They're both really slow, but at least the cop had a powerful basic attack while the Catgirl was really hard to use.

I usually go for girls in Fighting games because they tend to be easiest to use and the fastest, but I'm 0 for 2 right now...

My PSN is bobtheduck, though I doubt I'll have this game much longer. I'm gonna try Cross Edge next.

I came across someone on Kotaku that praised the 360's Dpad and said the PS3's sucked...

Analogue between PS3 and 360 is about preference (I actually prefer the looser analogue stick and the old super nintendo style layout of the PS controller, but I know many who hate it), but the 360's so-called D-pad isn't even properly functional (sort of like the D-pad on the fat PSP, now that I think about it, which can't do diagonal up and left, though I still think the 360's is worse) PS3's may not be the best D-pad ever, but it's 100%]

If you don't want to get hurt again, you better stay away from the Kaka...

It's more like a tactical fighter than a 'speed/drive' fighter. It took me a while to appreciate it, but it does utilize the mechanics in a rather nice way once you get used too it. There are plenty of other games that use the guilty gear engine to create much more intense 'drive' gameplay. This one requires you to time things and work your way through a lot more if you are fighting someone who knows their stuff.

That aside, Bang Shishigami makes this game awesome on his own. Most of the characters are fairly well made and some are twisted in a decent way. Still, gameplay wise it is pretty well balanced in most cases. For some it might feel more like a game of chess than a speedy fighter, but it got a nice phase and it is stylish to a nice degree.
