What's Your First Memory.. That You Can Remember ^_^

Talk about anything in here.

The nurses sighing when they realized they had to give me back to my mom . . . okay, I totally kid.

I think I remember some of a birthday party I had when I was about 3 or so, but I think we had a video of that, so that may be completely false. My memory's crap.

I think my earliest memory was sleeping in my stepmom's lap.

Ooh... I remember my old house... I was about six... And there was a little pit full of leaves I was told not to go into. I went in anyway... Under the leaves was a ton of broken glass D:

I remember my dad walking in the door being coated in head to toe with blood, and me crying because I thought he was a monster.

He got in a bike accident or something when I was about two, and was able to make it back to the house before he passed out.

I think I tried to forget most of my childhood. XD

One of my more earlier memories was being taken to the toy store to get a wooden horse stick for my birthday (my 4th birthday, I believe). To this day, it will always be considered my favorite toy.

I have one really vibrant memory from kindergarden. I was talking to a friend of mine and he was so busy he started pouring the milk he was supposed to pour into a cup, but he moved it without noticing it into his own backpack. Big laugh for me at that time.

I do remember playing with my favorite Aunt one Halloween(I was a Bride X3), I think I was two, or three. ^^
I also remember(When I was three, or four) going with my Dad to visit his Parents, playing with my Grandma in their front yard, And randomly spinning around. XD I've always done that.

I remember running down the hall at our old house, after some girl who was about my same age (2 or 3). Of course, I might have dreamed it, because I think I was wearing a dress.

Wow Rocklobster... that was... that was an epic gravedig :P. I didn't even REMEMBER posting in here :P. (Attack of the zombie posts)

Onto other memories though. I do remember from about two years old having a rather traumatic experience with a floating eyeball in the mirror. I woke up and felt my feet burning (kind of like I was walking on the hot sidewalk outside in AZ during the summer). I instinctively knew that if something were hot that water would cool it down, so I went into the bathroom and climbed up on the counter and put my feet under the faucet and turned on the water to cool them.

However, something was off and caused me to look into the swinging mirror that is sitting right there. When I looked in I saw an eyeball over the toilet in the room behind me about 4-5 inches in diameter with a bright blue eye. It was just sitting there in space. I turned my head rapidly to see it, but upon doing so it was gone. I repeated the experiment until I was convinced that whatever I saw could only be seen in the mirror and not when I used my eyes directly.

I was terrified and don't remember what happened after that, however my sister claims today that she remembers me screaming as loud as I could and came from a couple of rooms over running to find me sitting on the counter with my feet in the sink. My mother later on that day went into my room and both of them remember it smelling like smoke (no one smokes in our house).

Ultimately it really freaked me out and a few years later it was one of my deciding pieces of personal evidence that convinced me to sleep on the downstairs couch for most of my childhood. My parents would have complained but my mother didn't want to go upstairs at night either :P so she couldn't bring it to make her kids go up there O_o.

Nothing like that happens these days though. It was my most vivid childhood memory.

I don't remember a majority of my childhood, but I remember a time when I was younger with my grandmother. I put on one of her aprons and we made cookies together, forming the dough to look like turtles and kitty cats.

I kid you not I vaguely remember events surrounding my birth. They are very vague, but I remember bright lights and cribs.
I have many recollections of my early childhood, but that is by far, my earliest.

Believe it or not, I remember my very first memory. it was when I was 2 or 3 I believe. At first, it was all dark, then all of a sudden, I find myself in a room in my house. I already know how to talk, who's mom, who's dad, who my family is and everything. Really, it's as if you're purposely not supposed to remember when you're a baby because if you did, I think it would be harder to learn things. But yeah, the memory stuck in my mind because I realized (when I later remembered it), that at first it was all black, and my mind came into existence.

Weird huh?

I remember... my brother and I "locking" ourselves in our room by pushing a small cupboard in the way of the door. We had managed to break our older brother's favourite toy and were very much fearing for our lives.

I was around 3 years old.

I remember playing with wooden blocks with my dad. I loved those wooden blocks—my dad and I used to make ramps out of them and build huge train layouts. I was a train fanatic. I must have been two or three.

I think my first memory kinda linked from the one I told in the chat (me being left alone as a baby in my crib while it was storming) and the remembering only seeing the table top and my mom holding me/cradling me 8D

Pascal... freaky story O.O

I too, remember something like that at the age of 3 or 4 o_o

It took place at our first house in this town. It was a two story house, but we all slept in one room down stairs (except my half brother. He had the upstairs all to himself ^^). Every night, my mom would wake up to go to the bathroom (Sorry, tmi) and wake me up to go with her. This was probably around 4 or 5 in the morning (I think).

I woke up and glanced out into the living room (the door to our room was open) and I could see shadowy figure standing in front of the vcr (there's also a window or two that let the light of the street post in). I ran out of the room thinking it was my mom. I stood in front of her calling her name (mom) a couple of times, but received no reply 8( I then stared at the shadowy figure for a bit longer... O__O Then, I ran back into the room.

I found that my mom was still soundly asleep in bed >_>

I don't remember anything before the age of 5, although I really wish I did, because then I could remember my Grandpa without having to see pictures or videos. >.< Darn memory!

*Ahem* X3 Anyway, some of the first memories are of me and my family moving into a huge 100 year old 4 story house. Those were the days I tell you X3 Me and my twin sister and older brother would always play imaginary games all the time. Like using the stairs to climb up a "mountain" and rescue our stuffed animals, or using our merry-go-round as a time machine to travel back to the Jurrasic age and collect eggs to bring back to our time as pets (Apparently my sister lost a leg in the process XD). Ohh, and of course we loved to play ninjas and sneak around the house in the dark, lol. Being a kid was too awesome, I miss it.

My earliest memory is from when I was almost 3 years old. My sister, dad and I were standing in the hospital parking lot by the car having just come from visiting my mother and new born baby brother -his birthday is a few days before mine. It was raining and I was screaming my face off 'cause my mother was staying at the hospital and I wanted her to come home. My mom says she could hear me screaming all the way out of the hospital. So from the start my brother has been a source of trauma. ;P

I remember when my mom dropped me out of a Ford Bronco...I was less than one. Though it may be a false memorie due to having heard the story eight thousand times. I remember playing with a friend who lives next to my grandparents when I was 2 or 3... other stuff too, but I...forgot. XD

I thought that I had dreamed of a place where there are a lot of flags lined up, a drak night and with many people with brief cases walk. 2 years ago I was surprised that that "dream" is exactly how NAIA airport looks like. I've thought that I have never been to NAIA all my life and never saw it but my mother said that I was wrong:

I went to that airport when I was one and a half years old when my papa left to work in Saudi. At that time, it was my mother's turn to leave.

It was not a dream but a memory.
