New Thrice Album Out In Early October!

Postby Radical Dreamer » Sat Jun 13, 2009 3:11 pm
Hey everyone. All the tracking is finished for the new record. Though it still needs to be mixed and mastered. To everyone who is hoping for it to come out next month now, I’m sorry to disappoint you, but there is a lengthy process still ahead with production, sending out copies to press, shipping, etc. You have to send to press about 3 months early because that is how early they put together the issues. Sooo, the record will be out in early Octoberish.
I'm so excited to hear this new album. XD I can't wait to see where they take it!

Questions? Comments? Exclamations of Joy? Discuss!

Sooooo excited. I can't wait to see what they come up with, especially after The Alchemy Index.

If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. Here's a good idea of their new sound:

To my knowledge, this new song is titled "All The World Is Mad" and will be on the new album.

I'm sure this will rock my face off, and possibly the faces of anyone standing near me at the time.

That song is fantastic. I want a new Thrice album that isn't a lofty elemental concept album (as nice as that was) so bad.

All four Alchemy Indexes were fantastic.

However, I am excited to see what's in store for them.

It's interesting to see a band put out something as unique as that and see what they do next.

Eh.
I don't like it.

I guess we'll see how it applies to the content of the album.

So Thrice's album artwork and track listing for Beggars has been released!

Image

1. All The World Is Mad
2. The Weight
3. Circles
4. Doublespeak
5. In Exile
6. At The Last
7. Wood & Wire
8. Talking Through Glass
9. The Great Exchange
10. Beggars

October 13 is the release date. 10 tracks is a little bit less than I expected, but after just finishing The Alchemy Index, I guess it's fine. XD I'm stoked!

You might want to change the thread title, Corrie.

The album comes out in August because of the leak.
At least for digital download.

From Thrice's facebook page:
Thrice will be releasing their sixth studio album "Beggars" physically on 9/15. It will include new bonus content.

And let's just say I have to try very hard not to listen to it yet. ^_^

Just listened to it. I haven't really cared for Thrice in the past, but this album is surprisingly good. Sounds a lot like Coldplay only edgier.

Oh, YES. I'd heard they were tracking new material, but I didn't know it was all gonna be for the physical copy. That's awesome. And I haven't listened to it either; I felt really terrible for them, given what happened, so I'm gonna wait until I have a copy in my hands before I hear it. XD

I listened to all of it on both streams and it is a solid album.

I will also obtain a physical copy when it's released.
