Final Fantasy VII on the PSP

For any of y'all who have a PSP and/or PS3, FF7 is now availiable for download from the PSNetwork :D

I'm so getting it for my PSP after next pay day :D

I am assuming that I can get games from the PSN without a PS3, right...? I can download demos directly to my PSP...

I have CFW with Popsloader, but... hahah, I don't actually own FF7 so I plan on getting this. I have FF8 with a missing disc, so if FF8 comes out, I'd get that too. I'm not getting it until I upgrade my PS3 harddrive, though. I'm about out of space, and I'm gonna get a SSD 128 gigs or 256...

MUST BUY!!! I hope to get FFVII sometime today or tomorrow...
It's hard to get to a Gamestop or find any sort of PSP points card when your car is in the shop.

Question: Did the doctor the graphics at all? I saw a screenshot the other day and they were using the combat figures outside of combat, but I've not seen anything on it.

I seriously doubt they would, since it's just a straight port... There was a PC mod that upgraded all the characters to PS2 quality (and upgraded the music to at least PS1 level, since the original PC version used... midi... ugh) , but you're still dealing with SUPER low res backgrounds, so it still looks like crap overall... Only now instead of the characters looking like crap vs the awesome backgrounds (what it was in 1997) it's awesome characters with crap backgrounds (now)

I kind of figured it was going to be a straight port, thus my skepticism.
